As one who is old enough to remember the U.S. news coverage & political figures of the 1960's & 70's, i find it deeply troubling how that a typical opening day of meetings of the NATO alliance or the EU is more like opening night of a Broadway play. Smiles everywhere, even some giddy laughter. In comparison, today's meetings of officials of the Russian Federation look much like NATO meetings of the 1960's & 70's did (in appearance), businesslike, serious, un-smiling. Two choices for the West - either intervening directly and fighting Russia on its own, or starting serious negotiations with Russia on the topic of Ukraine’s NATO membership and, more broadly, security in Eastern Europe. The first one the west has no resource base to turn trillions of Euros in to tanks. The second one you need to read AGAIN this dreadful Putins Dec 2021 ultimatum on rolling back NATO borders to 1996 state. On Dec 2021 US spat on it due to Ukraine NATO proxi forces were primed and ready to fight Russia. These forces been ground up and spat by Putin.

Paid and financed western Assassinations on YANUKOVICH commenced and made him run away to Russia. US approved Ukraine nationalists like Yaceniuk installed in power. Constitutional judges where chased out and new head of state appointed. Ukraine constitution was broken. You can still see same today where now dictator Zelenski holding on to his power. Is west upholding democracy in Ukraine? Immediate after western financed 2014 Kiev coup constitutional judges where disbanded by newly installed Ukraine nationalists. Ukraine constitution was violated producing illegitimate new government who lead this country into civil war 2014-2022. The Ukrainian Constitution does explicitly forbid parliamentary elections and some kinds of referendums during national emergencies, but says nothing about presidential elections. The Constitutional Court has not ruled on how the current impasse should be resolved. We have ilegit president leading thousand to eastern front slaughter house under “We are winning”
