Wow. That driver had some mighty big balls. You know he's got to be thinking, "If I drift over a little we're going to get blown sky-high." Yet he didn't panic which will get you killed. He managed to pull a concentration and adrenalin level out of himself that he didn't know he was capable of. When you get to the end of something like this though you usually fall apart for a while until you get your mind back. Adrenalin and concentration can work wonders in a pinch. I saw a similar old movie where they were taking a load of liquid TNT across country. That stuff was really explosive.

@@bargainbassist Pretty sure the film that John Allen saw was an old b/w movie called Blowing Wild with Gary Cooper, Anthony Quinn and Barbara Stanwyck. Easiest way to "de-mine" those roads is with a huge Bulldozer (maybe custom huge industrial size) with at least two mounted 50cal machine guns / cannons mounted on the blade remotely operated from the interior cabin ... and simply drive forward destroying them with the 50cals in front of the Dozer safely... i still haven't seen this simple design done - feel free to suggest this to the Ukrainian heros

Maybe they need the road and don't want to ruin it with craters.

@@MS-Fin1917 easier to fill in a hole than risk lives and time - the Dozer/gun turret idea fixes up the road QUICKLY with no risk

So, the mines are placed on the road, clearly visible and in straight lines with a clear path between them. So, what's the point of mining the road ?

Orders... Its meant to slow you down. You can get a truck through but a tank is too wide.

Couldn't agree more with Jonasz Rewinski, my favorite TVP World anchor. The West needs to keep up their support to see this through. Call your legislators, especially those who vacillate often depending on public opinion. They are weak spined.

Brave Ukraine soldiers- they fight to survive and protect their motherland and families. Unlike the Russia soldiers, they are force to fight and risk their lives for nothing, worse for an EVIL man .putin

And the recoil is sending the rounds all over the place. He'd be lucky to hit the side of a barn.

I think that MG was designed to be on a heavy tripod and/or a cast iron carriage with iron wheels. The crew would pull it like a horse and wagon. That thing is heavy but those big cartridges put out a LOT of recoil.
