I bought that exact trailer and sides from Northern Tool about 3 yrs ago for my side by side. I have filled it with wood a quite few times when harvesting downed trees. It works great.

Picked mine up at Northern Tool. Great little lawn trailer.

Great trailer, bought the 1200 lb in 2005 and have used it and abused it ever since. I’m sure I’ve had a ton plus on it of field stone many times, I even screwed boards on the sides and hauled 10 yds of concrete in it, it’s a beast lol! The tires have been plugged but hold air perfectly, one of my better purchases I’ve made.👍😃✌️🇺🇸

Much like what was once known as an Otter sled. Gosh they were great for things, ice fishing, deer hunting, drag em behind a snowmobile, move stuff around in the yard, etc.

I made something similar from an old wheel barrow for my riding mower. I use it to pick up limbs in the yard before I mow, clear out trimmings from trimming bushes, and most yard work. I bought two solid tires/rims, some steel tubing, and welded it up. I painted it to match my garden tractor. It works great for my needs.

The best way to insure your trailer tire hitch pins don't come out is to take a zip tie and fasten the end of the pin to the ring. Been using this on tractors for years. If you ever need to remove them simply cut the zip tie. Enjoy your channel and hope you continue documenting your life.

The first trip out with the rig the clip on the hitch pin disappeared. Not a very impressive hitch pin in the first place, but I was surprised it actually came with one. Another thing I was impressed with, the small parts box actually had an extra nut and bolt for every size the machine uses, a nice touch.

A trick I added to mine is a guard in front of the wheel to deflect it around saplings and trees. Sometimes on tight trails it helps when it doesn't track directly behind.

Haven't gotten the itch to get a 4wheeler. I have a Fergusons 3Ton Tipper that is a direct attachment to my 48 TO20. I finished restoring it this last Spring and it has been a life saver on my Homestead. My SxS is still a 66 IH Scout.

That is a very nice cart. It would be great for carrying a tree stand, a deer feeder and corn back in the woods. Pack your deer back out with it too. 👍

Nice trailer. If the snow gets deep enough you could pull it off the frame and use it as a sled. 👍 Now ya just need a winch on the front of the quad and a snow blade.

It might be possible to get plastic wheel trims to prevent sticks catching, and the tube would be a good idea, often the seal between the rim and bead fails over time, and of coarse the tyre will crack over time but tube will cure both issues. Nice videos btw.

I have to agree with sheephill. I think the only way you're getting 1500 pounds in that trailer is if you're filling it with lead. Be interesting to see how close to 3/4 ton you can put in it.

The power of that grizzly is impressive, I just hauled a couple full loads of Oak up a steep hill and it had no problem pulling it at all.

It got all the attention it needs for a while on the trip to pick up the trailer. Every place I went, when I came back to the vehicle somebody was waiting to talk about it. It always draws a crowd, so before I made the trip I had to spend some time removing all, or at least almost all, of the guns and ammunition I normally carry. It has no key to speak of, just a flipper switch, but I don't worry about somebody stealing it. They would have to have had a lot of experience with one to get it going, and it's not a high speed getaway vehicle.

I got the Bannon 1,600# trailer from Northern Tool and I LOVE IT. It's got a mesh floor but I just put a piece of plywood in the bottom and it works like a charm. The tandem axle has the "crawler modules" that helps it crawl over rocks and depressions, etc. Makes it nice. Do you have a pet wolf?

I drilled some holes in the bottom of mine so it doesn't fill with water. So far I use it for fire wood but plan to try it out for search and rescue. You could put a person in it if they didn't need to lay flat.

Would putting a sled on skis be redundant or is the dump feature so advantageous that you would consider it worth the price and hassle?

Sometimes you just need a piece of equipment to fit the bill !! Don’t sweat the cost, the way I look at it if you take care of your equipment You can get a lot of use out of it and get most of your money back out of it if you ever need to sell it

the axles on the trailer might not be heavy enough for filling that box with green hardwood, which weighs about 4500 lbs/cord. if it could hold even 500 lbs, that might be trouble over rough ground. although the grizzly could pull it, the trailer axles wouldn't last any long time, in my humble opinion.
