Polar Pass is a typical example of a hard track with an easy developer time. What I mean by that is I needed many attempts before I managed to get through all three laps with blue fire and no mistakes, but once I did, I beat the developer by five seconds.

I had the same struggle with Thunder Struck. The dev time is pretty easy because it doesn't use the shortcut and rams into the wall at the final corner on the last lap. Still, I foolishly tried to do these little time saves and tricks and managed to fumble my fire or fall off the track.

I managed to do this using drift (saves you some turning where it wasn’t needed much in the 8 portion) and it wasn’t that bad only getting ahead of the dev ghost by about 3 seconds even losing blue flame after the last boost pad on lap 3. It only took me several tries mostly due to that blasted shortcut that is easy to miss your perfect ledge jump on (it didn’t require U-turning until after safe landing on the last two laps), and only had to deal with losing blue fire too early only once.

I was trying to do this with drift class and got 2:10:13 I give up. I had the same happened on Cortex Castle where i got 1:57:48 Oxide Station 2:49:13...I really don't wanna use speed but it seems like I have no choice if i ever want to beat them. Only track that was easy was thunder struck ironically the dev ghost bumps at the last corner giving you the seconds to pass him. Probably the only one who makes a mistake that noticeable.
