Hey I picked up one of these after watching your videos having a ton of fun with it. I was hoping to ask a question on mine the 4x4 is not working. I watched your vid on it and fixed my left hub where the disk was missing a tooth. now when 8 supply power the 4x4 engages and both front wheels spin. However I went in the 4x4 selector. When turned off i have 2 positives and 2 grounds. However when i engage the switch i just have 4 grounds. none of my indicator lights are working but my brake light and headlights are working. some people said if the indicator bulbs are burnt it will stop the 4x4 from working. could you confirm this or give me any advice?

The bulbs will not affect the 4x4 coils. The AWD button has its own light and will only illuminate when the AWD is engaged. Must be in forward or in reverse with the override button depressed. 4 grounds? How are you testing? The AWD coils will act like a ground as it is just a coil of wire going to ground with resistance. If the switch in the shifter isn't working, it won't send power to the AWD. Test for +12v on the gray wire at the connection panel with AWD button pushed in and shifter in forward. If no voltage is found there is a problem in the circuit somewhere or in one of the switches. Also check the ground wires.

@@MrFixit1 Sorry thanks a ton for the input! turns out my power probe had blown a fuse and wasnt testing correctly. My brother helped me go over it and we ran a power line from the key to the awd switch. Now when the keys on the switch gets the power it needs and does engage 4x4 when pressed. Thanks for your help again great channel!
