Polaris Ranger 1000 vs Muddy A$$ Hill | D.O. Tree Removal

Just a laid back Saturday with the boys... We always end up riding on the gnarliest days!!1 Brent brings out the 2017 Ranger 1000 opting for the heated cab over messing up his new Sportsman 1k Premium. JR "The Bull" saves the day by clearing a tree outta the trail, then has to show off by climbing the ruff stuff... It's still the mini-van of the offroad industry in my book!!!

It did snap that rear axle too so that didn't help.. It doesn't look so bad on film but that's actually a really tuff little spot even when its dry.. I stopped trying get the Sportsman up it when it's that wet. Too many failed attempts, and the right side is just a cliff if you get over that lip... Thanks for stopping by brother!

It went over that tree with no problem. Moved that tree pretty easily. I love the heated cab. Never been in a heated cab. Looked like a lot of fun. Awesome video

What kind of tires does Brent have on his Ranger ?They looked like they were working pretty well until his axle broke .

They were Pro Armor, I think they were Crawlers but I'm not sure which crawlers exactly. They're DOT approved and he said they're great on pavement and hard pack but he was actually sliding around quite a bit on those trails. In fairness though, we all were... If you're looking for DOT approved tires that will last a long time Pro Armor makes some cool stuff and Brian used to run GBC Kunati Mongrels. They won't be great in slick conditions or mud though.. I think a good middle ground are the Maxxis Carnivores... Brian and I are running GBC Dirt Commanders because they're a decent 8ply all purpose tire that doesn't break the bank.. All the other tires I mentioned are quite a bit more expensive.. Thanks for the comment!!
