Me and my 2 brothers all had Ranger XP1000's in varies trims, now we all have 1500 XD NorthStar Ultimate's. I was the first getting mine in January the brothers made the move a month ago. No regrets by any of us! If you really want to make it a great machine put 32's on it. I have the BFG KM3's on mine and you can roll down the road at 65 mph with zero vibration in the steering wheel.

Did you have to do anything to fit the 32s? I pick my 1500 ultimate up Friday

@@baileycampbell2970 No modifications are needed, the 32's fit with plenty of clearance and don't look stuffed into the fender wells at all. Some have put 33's on no problem, I know of 2 people that have put 35's on and claim they don't rub, I find that hard to believe if you had it twisted under full compression.

i have the same xp1000 2022 northstar and i love it but am thinking about trading it for the 1500 hd

I'd highly recommend you drive an XD 1500...bring your checkbook :) it is really an advancement. Please ride safe and thank you for commenting.

My folks just bought the 1500 xd. They are very happy with it , it’s a huge upgrade from their Honda pioneer 700. Nothing really wrong with the pioneer , they wanted a sealed cab , more power , air conditioning and no rubber drive belt. They wanted comfort and yes they certainly have it. They bought the rack system to carry their aluminum boat to the lake. Worked perfectly. They navigated the off road trails to the lake with no issues. The tow haul mode works really well . They put just over 150 comfortable miles on the machine that trip .

Wow that's a long trip for a SXS your parents are adventurous. I'm happy they like their XD....it truly has spun my brain the engine and transmission are ground braking. Ride safe thank you for commenting.

Awesome machine, I've had 3 Rangers and a General. I just bought an expedition northstar Crew XP5, and it's amazing. I had a hard time deciding between it and the Ranger xd1500 northstar ultimate. The deciding factor was the seats and awesome suspension. Expedition rides amazing, and the clutching is like a car as yours is. Great video always, Big T

This steel clutch in the XD 1500 feels like it is changing gears the rpms actually bump down like a car...amazing just amazing. I'm Glad you like the expedition ride safe.

Great video! I own a 2024 XP 1000 Northstar and the only thing that I don’t like is the high RPM’s when traveling on the road which makes it pretty loud in the cab. Might have to upgrade! 😉

Sir that Honda engine and transmission are premium...just outstanding. If Honda made a cab unit with ac I would be looking hard at them. Thank you for your positive comment. Ride safe.

@@maraudermitchelli Ya the Honda definitely sacrifices creature comfort for the workhorse tank it is. Less bells and whistles, the less chance of problems I guess. Cheers!

That is sad, I believe there is a 3 year warranty on the engine and transmission. The drive definitely has a different feel to it i have to run it in standard or tow haul as I tend to lug it around. Ride safe let me know how your friend makes out.

OMG it was so frustrating. The receiver had noise cancelling on so when the engine was running it was cancelling the sound...jeepers! That was the problem. I'm going to give up the channel and take up knitting or dress making. Thank you for helping be safe.

@@maraudermitchelli I was more worried about when you were outside the machine and your mic would rub against your jacket and cancel you out. lol

@@Zanderthelab it was that noise cancelling. By the way you are probably right if I remember my shirt folded over it. I'll start looking for yarn :)
