Leady and rythm guitar--this concept doesn't apply to most modern prog metal! I mean the both aspects are intertwined into one! Idk if that makes sense! To put it in one sentence:- both guitarists are playing rythm and lead parts :/

I have a Regius 7M that I love so much! Its playability is absolutely superb plus it sounds amazing (BKP Aftermaths). It's the super car of electric guitars, along with the Duvell and Hydra series both being in the same category. Keep it up guys!!
@turn81914 жыл бұрын
Hi, do you have a baritone Regius 7? Or 25.5"?
@maideo4 жыл бұрын
@@turn8191 Mine is 25.4".
@turn81914 жыл бұрын
@@maideo I also want to buy such a guitar model, but I don't know if it is suitable for low tunings (drop g/drop f#)
@maideo4 жыл бұрын
@@turn8191 You will need a baritone for those tunings, because the lowest tuning you can go on a 25.4" (like 25.5") is Drop G# and any lower than that will sound muddy. So you can opt for either the 26.5", 27", or 28" baritone scale length, or you could also opt for the multi-scale version like the Regius VF BKP 7 (25.4" - 27") instead of baritone, if that's your thing.
@maideo4 жыл бұрын
@@turn8191 And speaking of muddiness, it also depends on the kind of pickups, string gauges, tension, etc.

None! Just play a bunch and your ear will just hear this stuff in your head if that makes sense, most guitarists in this genre to my knowledge don't know anything about music theory and they're some of the best guitarists ever. I know for a fact Jesse from ERRA and Sam from Napoleon don't know anything about theory, but they're both my favorite 2 guitarists and write things like this if not more crazy

Could someone tell me a few tips for getting such tone. I mean, there is a lot of bass and still the highs ring well and it is very clean, not muddy at all at the same time. How tf
@TheGod0fCookies4 жыл бұрын
This is just me, but I tend to crank the treble setting on my amp to at least like a 7, bass at a 4, mids usually also 7. I try not to use too much gain, because you don't want to oversaturate your tone, a noise gate helps, a lot. You can get a cheap one that does the job, I got little micro gate that does the job surprisingly well, cost me like £20. When playing this type of music you can dial the bass back a bit, because the low tuning takes up a lot of the lower end, you don't need to add it back. The mids help add a lot of clarity to your chords, and the treble adds a lot of what I refer to as "chonk" to the tone. I'm not sure what amp you have, but this is genrally what I go for on any amp, though it's just my personal preference, you can change it around as you please. That's how I tend to end up with a similar tone, I love playing this type of music. I know you posted this a while back, but I hope this helps a little. ;D
@preston26363 жыл бұрын
there's really no secret. they use 5150 amps with orange cab if I remember right. it's the pickups they use that give them the godlike tone. they use bare knuckle pickups
