Polaris RZR 4500lb Winch Install | Amazon + SuperATV

It really sucks to be out playing in the dirt and get stuck.
Plus, often you aren’t out there with someone else. That’s where a winch comes into play. Today I’m installing a Fieryred 4500lb Amazon winch on a 2021 Polaris 1000 RZR Trail S using a SuperATV winch mount plate. The install went well and there weren’t really any hiccups. I do wish the wiring was a little more stout to the winch and the wireless remote had a better connection. I guess time will tell if this winch helps!

I run the Polaris 4500 on my 1000 Trail, Ran a 2500 on my 900 for six years and never once gave me any problems and that was plowing snow cycling hundreds of time per day.

Would this winch be strong enough to pull a 4 seater side by side?

At 4500lb it should be strong enough. Typically you want at least a rating of 1.5 times the weight of the vehicle. A 4 seater will weigh in around 1800 or so pounds.
