I’m very late to the party on this video. But, you should jack it up from the other side. The way you did it, you’re just angling oil back into the pan that can’t drain. You want the oil plug facing downward, not upward. Great video otherwise.

Nice job man - glad you showed that I can use the 1 1/4 inch socket for the filter as an alternative. I just picked up a 17 SL same color as yours. They replaced the rear tire for me but said it didn't need an oil change, so I'm going to change the oil myself. I may get a spoiler and a bigger windscreen as my first mods not sure yet.
