Polaris Sportsman 110 EFI Fuel Pump Replacement

Thanks man your video is very helpful. I bought my son a 2021 sportsman 110 and ran it dry. So now the bike won’t start and no fuel pressure so I believe it’s the culprit.

Man I just threw the new pump in and it's only slightly better than the factory one I replaced. It will move under it's own power now but has to be held wide open to do so. Just spits and spudders. I might warranty pump out and see if that's the issue.

Did you have to soder the positive and negative to the pump or is it screw on ?

how did you get the high pressure line off of the OEM pump?

It's been too long, but I don't remember it being any kind of a problem. Hmmm.. hope you get it.

What was your sportsman 110 doing that caused you to think it was the fuel pump? My sons runs awful after it warms up full throttle hardly any response from the machine.

Had a lower and lower top speed over a month or so. Wouldn’t stay idling after a while. Like the fuel pump doesn’t give out but it gets weak.

@@daronspicher thank you for the reply. Ours just won’t go it will idle all day long but as soon as you go to hit the throttle it sputters and won’t go. Let off the throttle and right back to idle all day

@@bendooley5639 Ben, I posted a video on KZbin about what ours was doing and a possible fix. It’s been a few weeks and it appears it did indeed fix the problem

I'm thinking that's what's wrong with my kids. It's idles fine. As soon as you hit the gas it boggs down and spits and spudders even at full throttle
