Thanks for showing us how it’s done (& where all the fittings are). I appreciate your taking the time to put this vid together. Very helpful.

Thank you sir ! Great video, very well explained and very comforting to hear tou refer back to the manual. Seems like alot of people online forget to go through their bloody manuals !

You can reach the drive shaft zerk through the bottom of the atv. A rag, grease, and the grease gun was all I needed to hit all nine with a couple pumps.

Raymond Kui I will have to check mine again but I didn't see a way to do that from the bottom. You have it on a lift?

Rotorhound, thanks for this video. I will grease my Sportsman 570 soon. I hadn't done it yet. I hear a slight squeaking from my ATV while riding and it sounds like a belt but I'll check it out tomorrow. New Subscriber! Thanks for the Sportsman 570 video and tips. Have a fine week.

Did you use the U-joint grease on the first zerks in the beginning of the video?
@TheRotorhound6 жыл бұрын
I used the u-joint grease only on the u-joint. So, three squeezes on the one joint. For all the rest of the fittings I used the polaris general purpose grease. This is what is in the manual. It may be a little different now getting to the fitting as there was a recall to keep from burning your right leg and removing the right foot panel may be more work. They don't make these easy to work with.

hi great vid and very useful info. I have a couple zerks that are seized and not passing grease. can you tell me what size to buy to replace them, please?
@TheRotorhound7 жыл бұрын
55vdub i am not sure what size they are so you will have to remove them. They sell pressure tools to clear them. Harbor Freight sells an assortment of various sizes in metric and sae so it should be "easy" to replace. Most of the Polaris stuff is metric. Hope this helps.
