Polaris Sportsman 850 Xp Cooling Fan Bypass

I watched your video and done exactly as you did. My fan relay will make a clicking sound like it is being engaged but the fan will not run. I can tap on the fuse/relay box and the fan will run for about three seconds and turn off. I have swapped all the relays around, made sure there are good connections and checked all the fuses as well. Any ideas?

Sounds like the thermal load relay is acting up. It’s bronze in color and taped to the wire harness close to the fuse box. If you have fb join my group there. Easier to help out.

Is it bad to run fan all the time ?

Ive done this mod on my 2011 sportsman 850 x2 and whenever i turn it on the check engine light comes on.
