Hello friend, I have an ATV exactly the same and they changed the connector of the T-map sensor but the cables are not in the correct position, you can help me with a diagram of the correct position in which the connector cables should be connected

Everything I've read says, to prime the oil system, you need to pinch off the tank vent line at approximately 2" from the tank. This video, and others, shows clamping the oil return line - not the vent line. Which is the proper line to pinch off?

If you remove the bottom drain on oil tank the vent line needs to be pinched. I didn't do that in this video. There will be a screen to clean and you will lose the prime if you do that

Great video. Thank you very much. Quick question. Okay, I'm going to change the oil on a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500, and a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 450. I will of course drain the oil tank, the drain plug from underneath, and replace the oil filter. But I will NOT be removing the oil hose with the screen fitting at the bottom of the oil tank. Will I still need to prime?

Had a few people comment same thing on the priming. Follow my vid to the t and you will be ok. If you remove the bottom oil canister screen you need to prime the line with the slit in it toward the air box. Also you will have to have loctite to reinstall screen in the bottom oil tank. My suggestion is to not pull the screen if you don't have to.

@@TorrentPerformance Right. I will NOT be pulling the screen. So, no priming needed, correct? And, thank you very much.

I'm unfamiliar with that model, there has to be a drain somewhere under the skid plate. No tutorial vids for that model on KZbin?

Do you recommend taking out and cleaning that screen?

Not unless you have loctite and the time to remove it

I tried to remove the screen and its hard to get it to break loose I guess because of the Loctite. Any recommendations?
