That's the best how video I've seen in a long time. I subscribed just because you left nothing out. Great work man

If the bearing is full of grease you don't need to worry about water and mud getting in with normal driving. No grease as it comes from the factory will fill up with mud and water in no time, guaranteeing a bearing replacement coming soon. The 2020 570 sportsman takes a 35mm on the front and a 40 mm axle on the back. Use red tacky grease and once a year is all that is needed.

I like my 2002 500 it has wet bath hubs no water issues ever ….. don’t forget the steering zerk under the headlight pod assembly ….I’d use Polaris purple grease or Amsoil grease
@SeanWMODonnell2 жыл бұрын
My manual doesn't even mention it! I thought my steering was harder than usual! On my 2007 I found an extra 5 spots with zerks. I bet there is more....plastics are coming off tonight after a wash. They change things all the time and its a hassle to figure out.
@FredD632 жыл бұрын
@@SeanWMODonnell If like my 2002 it will have about 16 zerk fittings … rear hubs, steering, drive shafts check it over really good … hoist it up if you have a safe way to do so
@ljconole74703 жыл бұрын
Greasing every ride is overkill. You're doing more labor than just replacing bearings yearly. Lol.
@sevenspineiii75242 жыл бұрын
Yeah seems ridiculous.
@HuntrPat9 ай бұрын
Greasing more often is better than not. Water and dust can immaturely where your bearing out sooner. Heat will break down the grease faster and allow water and dirt to stay between metal surfaces causing damage.
@craigwicke48359 ай бұрын
Grease often with a water resistant or water proof grease. Grease should push out of bushings. Wipe off excess. I have seen rust powder puff out of neglected bushings

you make some great videos man. i have a 2016 850sp but all the same idea. I have been dealing with clunking into reverse or high, almost when the clutch releases, sounds like either slop in the driveshaft or coming from rear diff. Im lost, the machine only has 50 hours and 400 miles. Any ideas?
@Polarisxcr7003 ай бұрын
@@OgBobbyStackz does it clunk the whole time? Could be clutch one way bearing. Or joints on your driveshaft. They do have a ton of drive line slop.
