Why did you just replace the seal and impeller? Not the whole water pump? Mine is leaking coolant and I'm not sure if I just need to replace the seal and impeller or the whole pump. Thanks

Getting the outer seal out is an absolute bitch. Hats off to anyone that attempts this repair.

Is the oil seal that came out the one that you said Crack the case for. I have coolant in my oil

does the engine make a bunch of noise when this goes out? and also does the engine run bad at higher rpms?

Well it can if you run it without coolant but than you have a bigger issue with the motor. But if it’s just thing seal gone than no it won’t cause any of those issue

The pressure caps over pressure the system with that seal not able to handle pressure, drill a hole in the cap to reduce pressure to save seal life.
