Have fun, but I gotta say, I kinda agree with dude. Only a few of yall were wearing your seat belts. Sure, you're in a little buggy with a roll cage, but the roll cage is only good if you stay inside it. Otherwise if you're rolling, it can throw you out into the path of the roll or come over on top of part of you. You don't want that

Polaris has clutching down to a science, the 900's hole shot the Maverick and then eventually the 13hp difference let the Maverick reel them in, With more power the 1k will leave the Mav and be quieter and more manageable. Just like 850 Scramblers vs 1k Renegades, the Rene will eventually leave it but the harsh clutching rips your arms off and makes it tiring to ride.

Have you seen Octacruisers 'gade? It's like a special built 25k mud machine, these look, more or less stock minus a few bolt ons. Pretty sure Octs bike would eat them alive and then some.

Funny you should make a statement like that Carol, the odds are very high. All the land we ride on is owned by members in the riding group or is private property of people we know. We have permission to ride these lands and the wildlife is just fine... until hunting season lol.

well I am very glad to hear that! Thanks for the reply then, We own 250 acres of woodland which we live on with a lake and 3 active wildlife ponds... we have a horrendous time with 4 wheelers and oftentimes motocross bikers using our land to off road through the trails we allow riders to use for their horses, hiking etc. and in the winter we allow the use of the land (against our better judgement sometimes) for the designated snowmobile trails... what we have happen is the people that use the trails in winter to snowmobile say hmm this would be awesome in summer with our bikes! They trespass all thru spring summer and fall! They destroy the roads we have paid many many thousands of dollars to build.. they do not stay on trails.. sadly they chase the deer etc. Do I have proof? Or am I just blowing hot air? We have placed wildlife cameras in the woods at various locations.. and.. guess what.. it is true! I have been harassed by the riders to the point of being very scared.. when a group surrounds me (a woman) and luckily rescued by my brother in law ... etc. They come in in the spring when the mud is the best and just destroy the trails.. and sometimes in their enthusiasm to have fun they come out and take a wrong trail that leads right up to our home and are stopped by location... They are covered in mud dressed in full mud gear and caught.. They can be very intimidating .. We make no trouble with anyone... it is OUR land.. bought and paid for by us.. We love OUR land.. what gives anyone else the right to use and destroy it? This is my point.. and when I see bikes... riding in streams that I use to teach my grandchildren to protect for their future as we do walks and check streams and enjoy overturning a stone etc to see the salamander and waterbugs etc.. well it riles me up! I may be over 60 but I know I made mistakes and was destructive along the way on my life path... by doing what I see in some of the videos and I will go down to my grave teaching and protecting young ones to respect what we won't have left for them if we don't step up! I am more than glad to hear it is your land and you are being respectful of it... I had watched many videos that day and by the time I saw that one I was done with all the destruction I had seen in so many... I have no issue with any thing in nature... nothing beats venison or fish or wild game.. we survive on all of it and the fish we stocked in our lake.. It is sad in this age of enlightenment they call it.. that we have people that take advantage of other people's good works etc and can't see past their own wants and desires and destroy things for others... but.. as for us.. well we are thinking of pulling our land from the snowmobile designated trails here and now just allowing the cross country skiers and hikers back for safety sake! Ride on! Have fun... we do in our 4 wheelers on our own land.

Carol Ruthven I understand your frustration. I hate being painted with the same brush as some of those ignorant uninformed folks you describe. Trails need to be respected, especially if you are riding on land someone else has given you the privilege of enjoying. Unfortunately, its seems like common sense is no longer very common these days. Iv seen people destroy planted fields and laugh not realizing they just cost a farmer thousands of dollars and possibly his livelihood. Most riders are quite respectful, its is that small percentage that give everyone else a bad name. This same concept applies to many other things in life as well, but I'm sure you know all about that. I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with disrespectful riders.

Every SXS usually has a cooler in the back and people make a day out of it, riding around and stoping to have a beer or two and ride a little further and repeat the process till the day is over. It’s all about having some fun out in the woods with some buddy’s rather that sitting at a bar somewhere
