Annie Lennox has a genius IQ and the voice of a Siren. I would shipwreck myself to see her in concert again. Wrapped in what looked like leopard skin, feral and fearless, she tore the roof off the Orpheum. She's right up there with Paul Rodgers and Freddie, a rock goddess, born from original sin. She redeems us every time she sings a note. I hope she lives forever.

She just came out of nowhere, sat by the piano, played it like Chopin while singing one of the most touching songs in history with such a deeply sad and emotional voice, absolutely nailing it, making Sting cry, just minutes after he said "WOW" when she entered the stage - this just has to be the definition of pure art. I REALLY couldn't care less if you call me a hater or not (my notifications are turned off so I never get to read what people write in response to my comments so please don't waste your time). People are ENTITLED to their opinion. Music (and other forms of art) are subject to OPINION. Just because YOU think a piece of music sounds gorgeous doesn't make it "ultimately true". To me, this particular performance was mediocre at best and I am FAR FROM BEING deaf (I have an amazing musical ear). Even she said "I tried" knowing that her rendition was sort of imperfect and left a lot to be desired. I'm not hating. I think Lennox is an amazing artist and a beautiful person but that particular performance was NOT good at all. Enjoy your life off the internet. OUT.

Live acoustic with no autotune or digital editing. Thanks and peace.

Annie Lennox what she shared with Sting, was Time, being in the moment, when time comes to almost a haul. Just for time its self doesn’t want you to miss a moment of it. Love of friendship given taken deep.

LOL...only a perfectionist like her says " I tried " after delivering such a wonderful performance; the little technical fails actually add layers of expressiveness and meaning to this song. Sting was clearly moved and admired of how she took that song to the depth and emotional complexity he always intended for it.

I was a teen in the early 80s and have the distinct pleasure of seeing Annie and Dave perform, as with Police/Sting and countless often during the British Invasion II. Kids today have no idea what it was like being a teen in the 80s and surviving the Grunge movement... what a ride it was!

I can't imagine the Palace of Auburn Hills is gone? We saw so many concerts and basketball games there. I lived only a half hour north. Did they tear it down or did they make it into some type of office space? Man that was crazy that they closed that arena barely 40 years Into its existence. I guess the Little Caesars Arena had something to do with it. They probably saw what was coming and there's no way without the Pistons that they were going to keep that place operating
