Annie Lennox has a genius IQ and the voice of a Siren. I would shipwreck myself to see her in concert again. Wrapped in what looked like leopard skin, feral and fearless, she tore the roof off the Orpheum. She's right up there with Paul Rodgers and Freddie, a rock goddess, born from original sin. She redeems us every time she sings a note. I hope she lives forever.

People are ENTITLED to their opinion. Music (and other forms of art) are subject to OPINION. Just because YOU think a piece of music sounds gorgeous doesn't make it "ultimately true". To me, this particular performance was mediocre at best and I am FAR FROM BEING deaf (I have an amazing musical ear). Even she said "I tried" knowing that her rendition was sort of imperfect and left a lot to be desired. I'm not hating. Like a block of cement, as soon as this song started, it immediately stopped Sting in his tracks and literally took him back to every single memory he has of this song. You can see it in his face.. Only a few in the World that can do that and Annie Lennox is most certainly one of them. Wow!

Sting , I, like hundreds of millions of others have had my life enriched by the beauty of your music and your persona. I thank you most sincerely for the incredible gift of your such varied music . I remember a gloomy wet day at Gateshead stadium when the police were supported by U2 It was so windy all the dry ice blew out the back of the stage .!!!!! We didn't care about having no sun . You were the shining light that put such warmth and joy into our hearts . A million thankyous . Your music will go on forever .

Annie Lennox is amazing and Sting clearly appreciated her performance and ultimately her tribute.

Always enjoyed her and Sting as well. Check out her singing "September in the Rain" on youtube. Fabulous!! Saw Sting in Connecticut in late 80's.

Amazing performance and singing but then both of them are amazing artists. So happy to see Annie singing and performing! The notes at the end as she goes high...man!

Many years ago, I had the privilege of seeing Sting in concert and Annie opened for him. In fairness to Annie, she could’ve been the headliner. But it was an incredible show, all the way around, and they did a duet at the end. Both stellar performers!

Annie Lennox' voice still sounds great at 63. That's a real achievement

I can feel the connection between the two. One great singing his feelings and then he gets to hear the sorrow felt from another great, maybe even incomparable until that moment

Annie opened for Sting on tour, we saw them at The Palace of Auburn Hills. She was shy at first and enchantingly powerful. We enjoyed Sting but our night was made by Annie Lennox.

I can't imagine the Palace of Auburn Hills is gone? We saw so many concerts and basketball games there. I lived only a half hour north. Did they tear it down or did they make it into some type of office space? Man that was crazy that they closed that arena barely 40 years Into its existence. I guess the Little Caesars Arena had something to do with it. They probably saw what was coming and there's no way without the Pistons that they were going to keep that place operating

Such a stunning performance. So incredibly emotive and so powerfully beautiful. Brought me to tears. Annie Lennox is such a gift to the world. As is Sting.

I can see where she'd have thought Sting would instantly guess which song she chose - the most powerful voice singing about the delicacy of being fragile. She's such a beautiful person in and out.
