Jinjer are one of the very best live bands on the planet! Tatiana is an amazing front woman and really demands your attention! Offstage she is very quiet and shy but on stage she is a beast! Awesome reaction, love seeing Jinjer on your channel!

Not only live, but the end of a set of growling - still has all her beautiful power! Perennial - as usual her lyrics are so meaningful, like a perennial plant that goes dormant, then in spring comes back to life. You can also see it in her dance interpretation. Awesome.
@nickmoutos8308 Жыл бұрын
Great choice with "Perennial," and a great follow up to that is "Who is Gonna Be The One" (Live), "Teacher, Teacher" (Official Video or Live in Melbourne), "On the Top" (Live in Kiev), "Pit of Consciousness" (Live in Kiev), "Vortex" (Official Video), "Mediator" (Official Video). Yes, this was LIVE! Jinjer is awesome and even better live than the studio versions! I've seen them live and they are absolutely incredible! Tati is the BEST front! She captures and engages the crowd on so many levels, such a Goddess! Love Jinjer!

I like people going from Pisces, which is just a little studio where she puts most of her performance into the singing, to this video where you get to see how animated and emotive she is on stage, not to mention seeing how she shows no sign of being out of breath until the song is over

Tatiana suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder and becomes more depressive during fall/winter seasons. So she expressed it through her poetry and the guys delivered the emotional undertone in the music. Judgement and Punishment next. Any version is good but the One-take and live in Melbourne versions are a little extra special.
@itsivbaby Жыл бұрын
she did it so gracefully. 😊 and thank you, i’ll keep those in mind! 🙏

@@itsivbaby Nice Reaction! What Tatiana did with the lyrics is compare her Seasonal Affective Disorder to a Perennial house plant, which during winter will lose all of it's leaves and flowers and will just be a stick coming up out of the dirt and one might think it is dead, but come spring it blooms again. "Will rise to live again"

This song has lines that resonates with my life on another level: "Under pernament ice we found a breathless paradise. No we're not dead. No You're not dead. Just enjoying coma." When I think about them I see all of people that I see most of the time. They're enjoying coma of being drunk, druged, or wasted in any other way. It's important to find the power within Yourself to overcome those addictions and deal with problems You are facing against. And if You think You can't face them alone, find someone You can trust and let them give You a helpful support. 😉Great reaction! 😃

I've been lucky enough to see them twice and they are epic. They'll open for a month of Disturbed shows this summer. I love your take on it. She struggles with chronic depression that gets a lot worse in the winter leading to self destructive thoughts. I think she wrote the song to remind herself that the spring would come and she can make it through. Lots great Jinjer songs. I Speak Astronomy has a beautiful music video. On The Top live in Kiev (now Kyiv) has great visualls thanks to upgraded stage production setup and is a great song all around. Judgement & Punishment one take is another fun one. Cheers!

I drove 6.5 hours after work to see Jinjer in Houston, TX in September 2019 before the PLandemic. I had to wring ALL my clothes out after the show. It was so fgn awesome. The sickest part about the trip is if I had the Kahunas I could have met Tatiana when we got there as she was jus coming back from a smoke break after the band got there. We arrived right after they did, but I was too tired, too scared to approach her. I respect privacy of famous people, but in retrospect I think could have met her and the guys. I did not want to impede on her privacy though.

Love to see you loving this so much.This band is such a gem and you've got so much left to discover. It's a world class three piece unit with a superb vocalist and fantastic catalogue. A force of nature she is with the capacity of writing lyrics that are beautiful and spot on. My favorite perfomances: 'Pit of Consiousness' live in Kiev and 'Who is Gonna be the one' live/the first older version. Both are very different from this 'golden' one, more brutal and dark and certainly breathtaking. Fine reaction, succes.

They've been around for almost fifteen years. They worked very hard to perfect their live sound from years and years of relentless touring. It's how they built up their core audience. Their country has been at war off and on since 2014. Sometimes they were refugees unable to return home, so all they could do was stay on the road and keep touring. It forced them to get even better. They are one of the few artists who actually sound better live than in studio. If you like the subject matter of this song, then you may want to check out "Pit of Consciousness - Live from Kiev". It's a song taken from notes in her diary about a nightmare she used to often have when she was a teen. "Pausing Death" is about what happens when Death, portrayed as a woman, decides to take a vacation. At first the world celebrates, but then happiness turns to horror when people realize suffering is eternal. People with painful diseases can no longer die, adult children will have to take care of their elderly parents suffering from severe dimentia forever, and so on. "Home Back" is about war in Ukraine, and "Disclosure!" is about an interview she did that was then used against her.

If you enjoy these lyrics, you will love the entire album Wallflowers. She indicated when she wrote the lyrics for the album that she had only heavy thoughts to convey, but I find the whole album super inspirational almost by counterpoint, as you can always find her light shining through her expressions.

"How did she just do that?" On the way into work yesterday, I was messing around with some vocal fun (try to do a Castelluci pulse-tone note in the sub-40Hz range ... and nailed it on the 14th try, lol) That super-low subsonic-y stuff is from the false chords, similar to some other harsh vocal techniques.. and I was amazed how CLEAN my regular voice felt after... it was like my chords came back from a vacation !! I don't think I could make that transition as fast as Tati does. At least, not yet. Have fun with the bad. You're in good company.

And I too think she is drop-dead beautiful. And super sexy.. Without being vulgar. A babe...........

Well - it's certainly live... But... Like you could probably tell there is a backing track with a bit of additional audio including some backing vocals But more importantly, it's not recorded like if you held up your phone and clicked record Instead it's multi-track recorded in the mixing board, so they get like 40-50 tracks, and a few ambience tracks from the audience, that they can then mix back home to make a more polished mix - based on what was actually played live that day, of course But that is how most/all pro concert recordings are created now :)

I was thinking about what Ivanna said in reaction to the ups and downs, remembering during good times that bad is around the corner, and thinking the opposite is true also... in bad times I remind myself the only thing guaranteed is nothing lasts forever. The perrenial theme is recognizing that it comes in cycles of growth and death and rebirth. It's all very Taoist actually!

What has being a pole dancer got to do with anything, or is that just click bait? Never seen any 'Supermarket checkout girl reacts' channels. Totally irrelevant.
@itsivbaby Жыл бұрын
bc pole dancers can love rocking to & analyzing the music & share the thought and perspective from somebody who sees shapes and movement when listening to a song 💙 i can better relate movement to live performances, so i’d like to do more of those. but i’m also enjoying the ones that have less of movement to analyze. it’s all love! but i understand where you’re coming from. lol i guess i don’t mention it much, only little mentions. i just have the bulk of it in my head and soul lol. that’s my mistake. thanks for pointing that out, i will be more aware moving forward! 😮💨🫡
