@@crabs857 Hey John can I ask you why you seem to have a problem with me. I think I originally messaged you back about the wrongly stated float weight with the young angler but was only trying to help him as he probably didn't actually realise. Although he had all the gear alot of people don't have any idea what they are doing. I've had the opportunity to do a lot of coaching and believe me I am a top flight match angler who has been out of the scene due to very poor health which I've been battling and thankfully im nearly through the other side now. Where you the fella who made a comment on a certain Facebook fishery site about a fish being laid on wet grass in my landing net as I needed to get some stots that had been pulled in the skin of a 20lb fish? ....

Great video as always Rob , i ve noticed you dont use a pole sock , do you use one when its windy and what do use as a roost ? seems like a nice and tidy set up , unlike mine

My rear roost is a hybrid of a Preston roost with a little matrix tulip rest screwed in. - works for me and not pole sock to get in the way. The side roost is a standard large roost. I don’t bother with a second tripod style roost unless I’m sitting in the water

If you don’t have a pole, which I don’t , would a hybrid feeder with groundbait in and maggots on the hook work just aswell, if I cast exactly in a little hole like that? Or even a waggler with a rod? Cheers in advance

riddle off the dust and cover with water in a bait tub when you get to your peg. they dont go stringy as they do when frozen.

I’ve froze mine but I make sure they have no air in bag and only go in freezer overnight if possible

Rob Wootton Cheers rob. I tried that last week but the ones in the middle of the bag stayed alive. If I had done it in 1 pint bags it would of probably been spot on instead of 2 pints
