Pole Rigs: Drennan V Preston Innnovations

Used both because of age and eye sight but I preferred the Preston because of the winder, the Drennan one with the elastic one is a bit old hat. I also remove the hook length and fit a Drennan plate one. They are pricy at £4.50. So I get mine from the internet £12 for 6 tied rigs with stots but no hook length. The winders are crap but I put them on Preston winders

Love both ready made pole rigs. But with the pellet rigs. I'd like them to a banded hook length version on both the preston and drennan rigs. Just a personal preference. But still both are really good ready made rigs

Love Preston...but, the Drennan pole rigs win for me, only up side to preston pre tied rigs is the winder.
