I like that 190 is the new 160 with Pole bikes. I'm always over-forking my bikes trying to preserve the geo deep into the travel and keep my pedals out of the dirt in heavy terrain. Its great to see a bike company with the ability to build their bikes "for those about to rock" shredders. For that I say...we salute you! 🙌 .

Awesome bike, full of inspiration and masterful engineering. Have ordered mine now and can‘t wait to get my hands on it. The in depth presentation here is very helpful, and I am happy to glean some hints for future tuning from Leo Kokkonen‘s personal setup!

10/10, I love this so much, I missed the stamina, now I understand, this looks so much better and the gold color is just perfect, 190mm front and rear, a true dream bike! congrats man, what a team of riders and manufacturers

these tech videos from your company are very nice compared to all that BS from the marketing guys from other brands. really cool to see someone who actually knows what he's talking about. gona get a pole voima at some point for sure. might be after i sold one of my kidneys 😁

Thanks for sharing in so much detail. impressive engineering and end product. Would love to ride one one day. Maybe I get the chance for a photo shoot with a POLE one day that would be awesome

I've had to refrain since late December, but I have my ship date now and I'm very excited to receive my Vikkela. This video and the other videos I've seen around with Leo have completely convinced me that this is the bike and company for me! I don't want a faceless big branded bike, I want something backed by people that will sit and explain in logical yet practical ways while having innovative ideas.

This is a beautiful bike, the only minor issue may be the short seat tube, being 202cm... And being a little taller than average the max total weight is not that high, although just sufficient for me. I hope to see one in real life in the Netherlands in the near future. Keep up the great work!

@Leo Kokkonen That BB area looks like a perfect place for a gearbox. With no chain stays a belt would be so cool. Please!!

how is your anti squat anti rise looking for this beautiful machine. will I be getting a energy absorbing pedal bobbing ride uphill? or is it very efficient in that pedal Dept as well? Beautiful analog Vikkela!!
@leokokkonen2752 жыл бұрын
Very efficient to pedal. On our website you see the anti-squat graph. Anti rise has a falling rate from 100%

I've noticed the left swingarm now has a bolt on brake caliper post mount compared to the machined in mount, why did you go that way?

To me, that I know of, by doing my research: Pole, Geometron/Nicolai are the only brands I’d consider, by looking at the way they’re made and their geometry. Other than manufacturers building custom frames I could add Privateer and Hope and Atherton into this list too. Stop believing the hype of these usual “hyper” brands.

BB is too high. The rest is superb. But I kind of need to feel that balance that a little lower BB gives me. BB drop 40-50 would be great. I almost never do those tight turns, except maybe in a bike park once a year. Pole Voima got a score of 3/5 because of poor low speed handling. No review of Vikkelä yet.
@thicccboyztv Жыл бұрын
Glad you know more than engineers and ews/downhill racers! Pole should hire you!
@rewind9536 Жыл бұрын
@@thicccboyztv After checking the sim in Linkage X3 I see that when sagged the BB is lower than my Banshee hardtail. So all in all superb. I think I would prefer CS to be longer though. And maybe a weld here and there wouldn't hurt.
