Got the P2 with Pilot and Plus-pack, driven around the same range as you, just love it.

Nice review - after 2 years and 40‘000 km with my P2 launch edition I can only agree!

Awesome video! Sooo informative. You're an excellent host! We just rented a Polestar 2 for the weekend. One word.... WOW. I came to KZbin to see if our impressions and utter shock were felt by others. Your video hit the nail on the head. This sedan is was sooo impressive! It looks damn good and is so unsuspecting! Thanks for confirming our thoughts. I'm sold! ❤

I rented one from Hertz in Vegas last week. My wife and I both noticed the suspension was nice.

Looks like the Polestar 2 is holding up well. I had the option of renting a Polestar 2 or a Tesla Model Y from Hertz for an upcoming trip to Portland, OR. Decided to go with the Model Y due to the slightly higher seating position, larger cargo capacity, and the always reliable Supercharger network. The all-glass roof of the Model Y will be a bonus for driving along the Pacific Coast highway. The Polestar 2 is just too much like a sedan from 10 years ago for my tastes.

I have ‘23 P2. You are very spot on with the critique. Ingress is odd and awkward. The cup holders are bizarre and the center console is also an odd design. Having said that, the car is a blast to drive. It’s also so nice to never have to pump overpriced gas, oil, engine parts, and smog certificates. I’ll probably re-up my lease in 2025.

And you’re right on with getting in and out of the P2. Getting in the back seat is even worse

The void color was a non-metallic paint which made it a lot more susceptible to scratches and dings. Polestar dropped Void for the '23 model year and replaced it with Space which is a black metallic paint.

Great video!Im a Polestar2 owner also, currently driving a 22 performance with pilot lite option.I have owned several versions etlier.DMLR and single motor aswell. The difference betweeb Yours and the performance with the brembos and the Öhlins dampers are day and night when you really pushing it in the corners.I live in Norway with really twisty roads. This car is a blast to drive in the corners. Its a Beast in the snow also.Great 4x4 system.I highly recomend the power upgrade. Its way faster now from 70Km/h-130km/h.Btw the routeplanner does show you the status for the chargers youre navigating to.Just press the gps icon, down right..when you see the waypoints in your route.

I did test rides with the single and dual. Obviously the dual is more fun but I'm wondering if I really need it on the average central European roads I usually drive on. For normal everyday driving, the single seemed already pretty awesome and it has the benefits of lower price and extended range. What do you and others think?

Hi Joe, great video! I have a 2021, PS2, PPP in Snow. Like you I had an ID4, but love my PS2. If you’re ever in the Twin Cities let me know.

I totally agree with your comments about the P2 suspension. Just a little too tight for me. I believe they corrected that in the 2024 model.

Polestar should have redesigned the centre console on the facelift model, a lot of people comment on it.

If you haven't been in a performance upgraded PS2 and you are ever in North Texas, let me know and I'll let you drive mine. I need to take it on the Dragon.

Per your question on what you would drive. I started my EV journey with a 2018 Chevy Bolt EV then did a slight upgrade to a 2020 Taycan 4S. I think I will stand with my cards.

I love personal reviews of actual owners and yours is a good example. Although I watched countless videos on this car, I still learned a few things. I can't wait to get mine but I'm still a little torn about all the options. Like, do I rather buy a brand new MY24 base model or rather a used one with a few extras? Were you always clear about your choices or did something change with experience? Did you ever feel like you might have been better off with the Single but with a Plus package, for instance?

I appreciate the feedback. There were some big upgrades including range and charging in the new model. I would also appreciate if you order thru my Polestar link 😀

It’s heavy not because they’re trying to be Tesla but because the batteries are heavy. Softer suspension means overactive suspension

I like the polestar 2. But not a fan of white vehicles. Being that I live in a place where it snows, you turn the corner and these people blend in with the road and snow bank. You can’t see them parked illegally on the road at night.
