Hi Chris. Thanks for the short range test. Last friday I was able to take over my P2 LR DM MY24 (without performance package) and did a short trip to Austria over the weekend. Had about the same consumption as you had in your short test. Total roughly 300 km, highway and also mountain roads mix. Today first drive to my office (about 22 km one way, country road and highway mix), 14,1 kw consumption.

14.1 is amazing! i don't think this was ever possible with the earlier versions. Was the drive itself sporty? or did you keep it calm mostly? Also, do you remember the displayed range that you had at any given SoC % level?

@@JabbaFanzz No, the drive was not sporty but normal. Entering the highway had to feel the acceleration of course 😉 but the rest "regular" and not specially calm. Did not activate the airconditioning in the morning. From noon on it was turned on. If I remember the SoC right it was 90% when starting the drive and 86% when arriving at the office. Over the whole day the consumption rose up to 15.9 kw/100 km after a total trip range of 60.0 km, average speed 42 km/h. SoC on the end of the day 78%.

18kwh/100 kms for the dual motor on 20 inch wheels at 120km/h is quite good. I never get below 20kwh in my ‘23 dual motor on 19 inch wheels, do it’s a 10-15% improvement 👍

Polestar 2 refresh should appeal to buyers who don't like the Model 3 refresh because of the lack of stalks and the added advantage of more practicality of the Polestar 2 being a hatchback. The new RWD Polestar 2 single motor’s has 320-mile EPA range and faster charging speed. Other upgrades include an increase of 69 horsepower (299 total) and 118 extra lb-ft of torque (361 lb-ft in all). Additionally, the 440V platform can charge as high as 220 kW, charging 10-80% in 25-28 mins - a 20% speed increase, according to Polestar. Bjørn Nyland youtube video titled “Polestar 2 LR SM refresh charging test” shows the refresh 2024 Polestar 2 has much better charging speed - better than Tesla and iD4.

It looks like they improved efficiency a lot, this is good step forward. Road noise and crampy interior remains though. It's a shame, especially in comparison to all the improvements model 3 received lately.

This is the Performance, awd on 20” performance wheels, 476hp, 0-100 in 4,2s, so yes the consumption is good for going 120kph. You can’t compare a smaller fwd that has small wheels with this car.

I have Id3 1st edition, and I have the same consumption @120Kph, so I agree it's a good consumption
