I have just bought a Polestar 2 and I found this video very useful! I will now remove the charging card from the second cup holder and slide it into the designated place and then finally pick up some takeaway without being anxious about the bag tipping over! Thank you!

Thanks, just rented a 2023 Polestar 2 and really like it. Some future suggestions....Need to have the radio go off when you open the door not having to get out. I know you can pause it. Maybe more storage in mid console and don't take away the 12v in the front. Some of us still need to plug in with regular USB. Thanks again for all the other tips.

For anyone viewing this with a newer revision, Polestar removed the HomeLink buttons on the mirror in the 2022 European version. I did learn a couple of new things that were not explained during the handover 😊

Riktigt trevlig kanal. Va och tittade nu på polestar 2 nu när priserna gått ner lite. Synd dom inte har subscription likt Volvo och lynk&co har
@carlessSthlm3 жыл бұрын
Tack!

Can you pin a shortcut for the cabin air recirculation tile onto the permanent climate display across the bottom of the main screen? It looks like there might be room between the heated seats and temp display.

Since Polestar (and Volvo) are 100% Chinese, should I be concerned about my privacy when it comes to their electric cars? So can the Chinese government listen in and/or watch and analyze the data dump from the car?
@carlessSthlm2 жыл бұрын
Well, short answer is yes because a lot of information is already going to Google. However, data leakage to China would be a commercial nightmare so I doubt that is happening. In Europe there is legislation (GDPR) that should enable you to request all the information that is stored about you. Google Maps in the car just had an update which shares more data with Google. I have a short video of that coming up.

7:19 can you not just disable creep?
@JT_NL3 жыл бұрын
This "Hold" option is more like a hill assist feature, it'll probably function with Creep being both disabled/enabled
@laser_simon9223 жыл бұрын
@@JT_NL Do EV‘s even need hill assist function? I mean if creep is off, the friction breaks engage in the last couple of meters to bring the car to a hold, so it is already on „hold“...
@laser_simon9223 жыл бұрын
@@JT_NL And alsö the Polestar has to permanent magnet motors, they naturally resist to start turning without any power input...
@carlessSthlm3 жыл бұрын
@@laser_simon922 Well I think this is for those who want creep on. And its easy to engage without touching the screen. For example at red lights. that being said it is a feature coming from ICE vehicles...

@@laslobalindt5106 there’s Bluetooth so send it from your phone.
@laslobalindt51062 жыл бұрын
@@XX-166 Bluetooth isnt acceptable. First of all the quality of it is not really good. AptX isnt the real choice. Why do i have a big sound system, when i put low quality in it? Second: I like to have my library with me. SO its not fitting on my phone. To put it online its too huge and here in germany internet is not everywhere existing. ALso its not very safe. Now in my BMW I do it like lot of other people do: A external USB-SSD with high quality mp3 files. So i can choose music whatever i like. Without having trouble of internet connection or anything else. Even if i would use online: I dont know if Amazon Music is available instead of Spotify? I dont have a Spotify account, because i use Amazon. This points are big topics in the Polestar forums. But from Polestar nobody cares. It would be so easy to make an App or put an app in the store for it. Basically one of the USB ports in the car should allow data connection. Im waiting now for the delivery of my PS2 and then i will check the possibilites. No car is really perfect, but sometimes small points are the reason why i buy next time the same brand. Polestar should care.

@@XX-166 Buy what? YOu mean Spotify? Why should i? I told you I use Amazon. No need for a second music app. The Car? I allready bought and wait for delivery. Unfortunatly i didnt know this with USB problem before. But your right, i will not buy another one. And if you look in the threads of polestar forums, you see, a lot of people are disappointed. Yourself started this topic with the question of radio testing. This is exactly the reason i didnt know about this problem. So why do you act now like a little child? Are you? The company Polestar could solve this problem very easy. But it seems they are not interested. Not a good way to get new customers.
