Currently on my second Polestar 2 with a day one Polestar 4 reservation. I've owned/leased a lot of cars from different brands and no one has taken such good care of me like they have. I was one of their very first customers here at my location and like there, they started out in a small room next to the shop behind the Volvo dealer. 😅 Now they have a beautiful "Space", as they call them, in downtown. Just got back from an international road trip and the 320 mile range came in handy. Just needed a little more space for the family and our things. The 4 will give us that. I could see why you wouldn't like the 2. I'm 6'2" and thin and if the drivers area was any tigher I may have reconsidered. Having sat in the 3 and 4 though I can tell you that problem has been much improved.

Polestar lives??? 😂. Great news!! Love the Polestar 2, and seriously considered buying one, but after watching all of you and Kyle’s videos I opted for the Model 3 AWD highland solely based on Tesla’s Supercharging infrastructure. I live in a condo with no charging and I like roadtripping, so after hearing the CCS horror stories I just couldn’t do it. The great news is that I’m getting my own level 2 installed in my dedicated parking spot next month! After having home charging I might go “off brand” for my next car though.

I think Polestar is not supported by Volvo anymore, GEELY has directly taken over that, and it seems they are pushing Polestar to the premium/luxury segment and Lotus to fill the role of the performance segment.

Volvo and Polestar work closely together. You can get Polestar engineered Volvos for instance for more performance.

Which model? p4 or p3? also, i can easily give you a reason as to why polestar is positioned perfectly size and price wise in the luxury segment. You only need to search for it's luxury competitors. hint, hint.... teslas are NOT luxury cars.

​@@charlescasto4226 Driver's assist is fine. Average leather!?! the Nappa is fantastic. My wife's 2017 xc90's leather has taken a beating and looks and feels fantastic. "poor drivers dynamics"!?! what are you smoking? They're literally one of the best "driver" EVs on the market. a single google search can get you that answer. Also, my test drive of the P3 was SHOCKINGLY good. I almost cancelled my P4 order afterwards (still waiting to test drive.). Now let's talk prices compared to other luxury EVs . p2 is cheaper than bmw i4s, audi q4s, audi a6 etron p3 is cheaper than a bmw ix, mercedes eqe suv, mercedes eqs suv p4 is cheaper than an audi q6 etron, porsche macan ev Aside from the p2 (based on ice), the p3 and p4 are easily better packaged vehicles than all the other luxury brands' products. Sure VW has the 800v architecture, but that's for people who swear that they roadtrip 50% of the time which we all know is BS. The Tesla argument is easy to argue from a technological and pricing standpoint. But they are NOT luxury vehicles. My siblings have everything from the 3 to the x and not once did any of those cars give me bww, audi, volvo luxury vibes (all brands we've owned/own). And these days 30% of the cars at a stop light are teslas where i live. Boring to look at, and to me, look cheap.

@@charlescasto4226 Poor driving dynamics? How many SUVs on the market (ICE or EV) have mechanical torque-vectoring rear differentials? Because the Polestar 3 has one and has been universally praised for it’s driving dynamics. If you look at its competition, it’s the lowest price offering, yet offers arguably superior driving dynamics and is at least equal in luxury and tech.

I rented a Polestar 2 at Hertz in Florida and don’t like it because driver’s seat is much too cramped from a much too wide console. Body of this EV must be from an ICE vehicle because there is a huge driveshaft hump in rear. Assuming every Polestar purchased sends profits to the CCP military, this patriot would never buy one. If the battery is from China, then it loses half of federal incentive. Polestar 3 is much too expensive. At this pricing, I’d look at a BMW or MB or spend less with a Kia or Hyundai.

No. They got 1 billion USD in external investments, they now have 3 cars on the market, and they sell well enough, they are premium, not volume cars like Tesla, with a lean manufacturing strategy in close collaboration with Volvo
