​@@patchys8569 The Ruger 57 is a good gun, but ammo is hard to get and expensive. You'd be better off with a 9mm such as a Sig Sauer P365, Smith & Wesson Shield Plus or a Glock 43x. Those guns are lightweight, easy to shoot, and take a cheaper, easy to get ammo. My best advice is go to a shooting range that rents guns and try out as many as you can. Then you can make a decision based on what's comfortable for you. If you buy a gun you don't like then you won't want to practice!

Beginning at the age of 12 I was running around with a gang in Southern California. I recall times when we used to get in fights, commit crimes and had no regard for the law. However are crimes didn't involve causing psychical harm pain or death. At the time I didn't realize that there were other ways in which I was causing grief. My biggest regret? Was not realizing that I was only a punk kid trying to make a name for himself amongst my fellow gang members? Which only led me to jail and than prison. My advice to these young thug's out there? When you are sitting in jail and or prison? Just know that the gang, the neighborhood, and your "name" go on without you. And soon afterwards the things that you did and your name are forgotten. The pain that you will cause by your actions will never be comforted neither for your family. And the others! I would tell my 2 sons who chose to follow in my steps? If I got paid and if it benefited me and my family? I would've been in the gang to this day. My own father would tell me. Son there's only three places that the choice's that you are making will take you? #1 jail/prison. #2 hospital. #3 GOD forbid the grave!!
