I can speak on this because this happened to me. My underwear (bra and pants) were held up for all to see and my past was brought up (which had nothing to do with the price of eggs!) Nevertheless, I got the BA*TARD seven and a half years. So it was worth the humiliation....

I had a rape test kit at the hospital a few months ago the medical examiner said it was a positive presumptive test because the examiner found stab wounds where the criminals attacked me with syringes but the cops tried to cover it up and changed the test results the medical examiner photographed my multiple stab wounds with a tripod camera and a separate time when someone stabbed me through a car seat with a syringe and tried pushing me out of a car partially unconscious to shoot me on the side of the road by the railroad tracks and tried shooting me at a storage unit the sheriff's didn't even question the people who attacked me the whole states corrupt they rather let them kill me then be responsible for violating my rights when I reported an active every night rape at aubreys they didnt do anything for 5 months while i was being drugged and sexually assaulted

They do not want to go out and get the evidence. Even if they have to evidence the crown prosecution do not want to waste the money. Making sexual assault victims fell like they are to blame. An left in some cases seeing the person who did the most violated crime living a full life with no consequence. (Seen this first hand)

One person's word against anothers will never, nor SHOULD ever be enough. In a he said/she said situation, corroborating evidence, such as credibility, memory of events and other witnesses is all you have. That's not a "blame culture" that's good policing. I have tremendous sympathy for rape victims, but what alternative do they think is viable beyond presenting that need for corroboration more sympathetically?
@emm_arr3 жыл бұрын

The CPS could take these cases forward and let the court decide. There isn't always enough physical evidence but testimonials can certainly help
@Martial-Mat3 жыл бұрын
@@user-sh2rc5kc7x A case of such import should NEVER be decided on testimonials alone. People have motivations to lie, and even the best intentioned witnesses have bad memories, poor senses, and reconstruct events. You say that the CPS should "take these cases forward and let the court decide." In other words, every case should be treated as speculative, which would cripple the credibility of ALL rape trials. Not only that, but now, many innocent MEN have to start suffering. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation, but I don't think that compounding an unfair situation with another is the way to achieve justice or public support. It's a horrific situation for women. I don't know what the solution is.

- it must be truly maddening for police try and sort out and investigate hte myriad of claims. When so many of them are also complicated by them being insanely drunk, meeting up with strangers and having foggy memories along with shame and possibly social and family pressure to have the whole thing be anything but her out doing 304 stuff. it would be different in a culture that didn't have accepted things like hoe phases and dozen tinder hook ups a month just for the food type situations. I'm sure they have become frustrated with having everyones personal responsability go out the window if it pertains to them going out dressed like they are for sale and going home with strangers they think they know from a few chats online. Just how can police possibly have a chance at figuring out whats really going on when half the time the girls can't accurately recall the last 10 hook ups they had that they were proud of let alone the ones they don't want to have count on their roster. When you go out with the intention of getting up to stuff that you don't want to clearly remember, with people you don't want to really know, in places you have never been to before, it makes it all but impossible to accurately sort out fact from pieced together nonsense.
