Police arrest 17-year-old for allegedly stabbing a Metro bus driver

The suspect accused of stabbing a Metro bus driver near Woodland Hills has been arrested. Jeff Nguyen reports.

The suspect's life is ruined over God damn bus fare and a driver who will need medical treatment for months if not years. *CHARGE THE SUSPECT AS AN ADULT.* I ride this system almost every day. The savagery on these buses, the bus stops, on the trains, and train stations is terrifying. We have had rapes and beatings on the system and MTA plays classical music as a remedy? There is no deterrent and very little consequences. *WE NEED MORE SECURITY.* There are many reasons why people want out of LA. You can't build a life here with the obstacles that the City and County refuse to deal with.

For those who do not know. In Ca. especially in Los Angles, if a person who is found to be legally insane, will not be charged or tried for a crime, especially a juvenile. He will be simply held in local jail for two years and quietly released. 1:06 they might as well brought cardboard cut outs for the police.

@@naudianeels1328 Yes this was finally confirmed, our local radio has done a lot of reporting and finally got the million dollar questioned answered. Prior to 5 years it was nearly impossible to get an insanity plea. The state just refuses to pay for them to sit in prisons, out they go.

Metro needs a lot of work. Bus drivers are always late (shift changes) and assholes. The buses are also so dirty and people are always drinking and smoking and you can just smell it. So nasty!
