I'm actually her best friend and I know her really well she's been through a lot of trauma and she's trying her best to heal herself as well as others and make a difference in the community. Resisting is a secondary charge, which gets thrown out in the event of an unlawful arrest, such as this. And obstruction is a physical act. Video proves the arrestee committed neither offense and was unlawfully arrested. The cops are just tired of hearing it from her and they know she won't sue after charges are dropped, because she probably doesn't know her Constitutional Rights just like most people don't know their rights.

I've often seen her at Venis Beach, LA, where she has supposedly jumped into the defence of homeless people. Always when a camera is on her, she disrupts the work of everyone from the police to the bin lorry men. I've seen her playing 'Queen' in a bed being pushed slave and master style along the boardwalk by an accomplice, a bit like a parade float saying 'look at me', jumping out of it to 'support' someone being questioned by the police and disrupting them during their work. I have watched her try to disrupt officials who were opening toilet doors to ensure nobody was inside ill or dead after an overnight period, I have seen her sit down on the boardwalk in the path of a moving bin lorry to disrupt their work, presumably because they were taking away some belongings of a homeless person who had littered the public area with them. I have always thought that she needs help for mental instability. Unfortunately, some viewers seemed to think she was a hero and that nobody had the right to say she was a nutter. She did carry a notoriety that the social media warriors jumped on. Some found her funny to watch, and some found her exciting to watch in the name of entertainment. But clearly, there was something wrong with her, having no control of her emotions or self-awareness of how she was affecting the lives of tourists and visitors to Venice Beach, so this arrest comes as no surprise at all. She loved the limelight and the drama and prevented people from doing their job in keeping Venice Beach clean and safe. She claimed to be a healer, when in fact she was preventing some homeless people from being offered further advice the authorities could have given by disrupting those officers in the course of creating a sensation for herself. She was misguided, to say the least, I believe. Homelessness and drug addiction are huge problems in LA as it is around the world and I feel the need to help people myself, and see the point she tried to increase public awareness of, but I came to the conclusion long ago that she's not the one to do it. I can't say if she herself was on drugs too, but certainly her actions and manner suggest that she either was, or her mental state was unstable. Let's hope she got help for her condition.

This was the difference between Santa Monica and Venice. LAPD doesn't want to do their job's so they basically look the other way, get their late, if they even get there at all. SM had stricter vagrancy laws and started enforcing them. That was two years ago, just as the Police were starting to get tough again, after doing almost nothing during the Pandemic. Now we got a new soft on crime and drugs City Council that wants to hand out needles and other paraphernalia in our park's? Please City Council let the police do their job's. We are not America's homeless dumping ground, or a safe zone for drug users and criminals. It's a beautiful city, please protect it.
