I would react the same as you Kendal! I’m always texting my kids “are you ok”. I love close to our school and if I hear a lot of sirens I’ll text my kids, or if I hear of a bad accident I’ll text them etc. as young parents you always think the toddler stage is the hardest until you have teenage independent children/young adult! The worries never end!

I’m not a mom but I am an aunt. My brother and sister-in-law have me as one of their next of kin to call if anything were to happen to their kids, especially my nephews as they both have epilepsy. If I saw ANY law enforcement officers at my door they’re going to wish they’d never hear the end if it.

This happened to me and it was terrifying. My husband went surfing around 6am, and at 8am two officers show up at my door. I opened and asked: what happened to my husband? I was shaking and about to cry! Turns out they had the wrong apartment (noise complaints) but my soul left my body. I was sure something had happened to my husband 😭 thankfully it was just a mistake

I understand how you were feeling. My son was in the Airforce and on 7/18/2022 two people from the Airforce showed up to my house to let me know my son was in a car accident and had passed away 😔. My worst nightmare had came true. He was only 21. He was hit by a 95yr old man. Glad she was safe 🙏

I would have had a panic Attack Kendall. That's so scary 😨. I do the same call my ppl to make sure some anwer. I have had this happen. They came to my house 16 years ago to tell me my sister died. You’re definitely missing the iced animal cracker on top! I am getting that one, the Cinnamon Frybread , and the red velvet. Not interested in the Oreo one or fruit one. Those both are chilled. I didn’t bother with last week’s choices. Our prices also went up last week 😭 I’ve noticed that different areas have different cookies on some. You guys awhile back had peanut butter and jelly but ours was Reese’s pieces one.

Turns out the family we bought the house from, the guy had fallen off a cliff and had died. Investigation of foul play and all. Nuts

I haven’t had police show up at my door but one time a long time ago i believe in 2011 my sister she was staying at her best friend at the time house and she went somewhere with her best friend, her best friends cousin was driving and the cousins girlfriend was with them and they got hit by a drunk driver so basically my sister was in a car accident thankfully it was nothing too serious cause i would have died if i lost my best friend/sister she means everything to me. I remember when my dad got the call cause me and my dad were at his work place cafeteria cause my dad works in a university

Totally get that feeling you had. I had that recently happen. When my daughter disappeared and didn't let me know where she was. Police did come. But she's on the spectrum and doesn't always understand things.
