Mayra Martinez was at her first day of work at Scores, an adult club on University Boulevard near Philips Highway, when she refused to leave and police were called on April 27, 2016.
Officers said she was drunk and that when they tried to take her into custody, she resisted. Her violent arrest in the parking lot, which involved a take down and hog tying, was caught on camera.
Officer Akinyemi Borisade later shoved Martinez against a wall in the sally port and after she appeared to try to kick at him, he struck her several times while she was still handcuffed, knocking her out cold. She was taken down a third time that day when officers tried to remove a nose ring from her face. Both of those incidents were also caught on tape.

Disgusting…. People PLEASE WATCH THE LINKS BEFORE SEEING THIS INTERVIEW IT’S A MUST……After watching the links to see what this officer did and other officers let him do without attempting to stop him and not to check or after being beaten while in custody and handcuffs and at the jail house. This officer doesn’t have the right to cry or be given the respect that the interviewing offices gave their fellow officer is wrong. This the type of man would happily hit his girlfriend or wife for no reason at all, this shows why police are not respected in the USA anymore or trusted when this is allowed to go on. People lie the cameras don’t and the video evidence should trump any sort or report an officer writes as you see why this woman tried to kick him. When the video shows the officer lied the report should be used against the officer and the video overrules anything he would say afterwards. And all the officers at the jail that let this happen should have done something or came to this woman’s aid at least to check on her they just left her on the ground. again this is disgusting behaviour. Thank god I’m in Australia and not the USA

JSO has a history of this but so does every Sheriff's Office here in Florida. It's like they have a brutality rule that only applies to them.
