Well, not really. 20 years ago to live in Romania, for example, was very dangerous, especially at nights, because of gypsies. But in the past years pretty much all of them simply left into the West countries, and now Romania is safer than ever in its history. They still do speak Romanian, because they learned it for years, pretty much as they do now learn English, and in 20-30 years they will completely forget Romanian and will speak only English/German/french, depends on their new country. Hopefully they will never come back in Romania :)
