Why process people to go to Court !!!. Create a ticket system for various offenses and let them pay the ticket in the transport coffers. If they don't want to pay then they can go to court to defend the ticket.
@mahamadusumani3 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with your suggestion. The Police should be empowered to issue violating motorists with fines. If the motorist wishes to contest the fine, then he appears in court, it’s as simple as that.

@boatengb995 жыл бұрын
Good work guys but what I also want to put across to the appropriate authorities who fall within this jurisdiction is; if you want to curb driving on the shoulders of the Spintex road please ensure that the markings that clearly demarcate the boundaries of the road are clearly visible to indicate a two lane road. This way, anyone who goes out of the lane cannot have any arguments with the law enforcement agents when they are caught because; "THE LANES ARE CLEARLY MARKED"!!!!!! My second submission has to do with the responsibility on both users of the road and those in charge of the construction, safety and maintenance of everything related to the road. If law enforcement agents can ensure that laws concerning the usage of our roads be adhered to; I believe then that it also fair for you CitiTv to also on behalf of users of the road to also push that authorities ensure that everything concerning the construction, maintenance and safety of the road and its users are enforced. Typical example; all roads from the Kotoka International Airpot right through the Spintex road to Sakumono are pitch dark at night without any visible markings on the road. This I believe creates an unjust scale in terms of responsibility on the part of our authorities. So I believe this should be an appetizer for the next project after the war against indiscipline which I fully support. Thanks

So WHY THE HELL was the MP sent off and allowed to KEEP driving in the middle of the road after - 1. Reckless endangerment to other drivers in the first place by driving against traffic 2. Refusal to stop initially 3. Being chased, therefore causing even more danger to the public Smh, Ghana. This. Is. Why. The. Laws. Don’t. Work. He had the officer sit in his farm and sweet talked him into being released. He should have been placed in handcuffs IMMEDIATELY he was apprehended. Pius is the kind of leader we want- one who leads by example. Traffic is painful to sit through, but you’re not better than anyone. If these so-called MPs and other officials lived like the rest of us, they would be forced to see the problems we face and inclined to work on solutions. The police are just doing their job and rightfully so, but what gives your outfit Cititv the right to video citizens without their permission or that the police being disposed to authority automatically gives the journalists the right to usurp such a position and turn this into a reality TV show? Isn't it expressed in our constitution that the dignity of all persons shall be inviolable? I mean if found to be breaking traffic laws or not, aren't people reserved the right to interact with the police without a media circus ........or that there is presupposition that everyone is guilty so yh , nobody has a say in who gets to make a video or reality tv off them. lets face the facts , Citi tv really is all about the views n everything is really putting lipstick on a pig !! Nothing will become of the "big men" !!

They flout some road and traffic regulations all in the name of National assignment. Only for you to know that they are not on any assignment. But this same officers will pretend to be law abiding when someone else flouts these rules.
