When I was in school it was normal for some kids to carry pocket knives like those who attended shop class, and the teachers did too. It was only a decade or two before that that kids could bring their shotguns or hunting rifles in their trucks for going out after school. Nowadays kids are getting expelled for chewing pop tarts into the vague shape of a gun, yet there are also now kids like these who sneak handguns onto school property. I don't know if it's society crumbling or the laws meant to curb this stuff are causing all the issues, because gun violence in school sure wasn't a problem back when bringing a gun onto school grounds was still legal...

cleveland school security called 911 to report four masked individuals with guns approaching the school. the school went on lockdown. after the school went on lockdown, a school administrator let the kids into the building. why? because the administrator said that the outside was unsafe because he saw the police. so he allowed the four masked gunmen (who arrived in stolen cars) to enter the building even after security was yelling at him on the radio not to let the four masked gunmen into the building, but he did anyway because he felt that outside was unsafe because the police were outside.

@DoubleMonoLR Жыл бұрын
Sure, it's the 'older generation' to blame, despite the fact that it's obviously only a minor percentage that cause the problems. Of course there's likely to be problems with the parenting of the individual criminals, just like has always been the case. Ultimately the individuals are more to blame than their parents though, it's just offloading responsibility to put it all on the parents.
