Hi will. I dont know how strong your PC is but if its strong enough, you can turn on dynamic mirror reflection and it completely changes the chases and you can get a full perspective in the mirrors. Its under graphics settings.

Not played Beamng in a while but when I did I just did police chases in free roam. Italy area was my favourite. Modifying the internal settings you could be a police car and do a chases and join AI chases already in progress. Especially with mods that allowed you to create unmarked BMWs, Volvos and Audis was such a lot of fun. Felt like UK Police Interceptors on Channel 5 ahahha Just a shame with all the intensive CPU stuff going on and the lack of real triple screen integration and despite having a beefy PC it just doesn't run that well. And a job to setup everything up that gets reset on big updates.

They have a multiplayer mod for it as well, that's a total blast to cruise around and race with friends.

Yeah I’ve tried a few times since the last video. Ended up just being a combination of trial and error and whatever updates they have done since the last video.

@@boostedmedia Yeah well awesome video i have to say. Just finished watching it. I would love to see you try drifting in the game. Best combo plus location is the BX-Series street drift with a 2.4L Turbo engine and then down in the harbor area in West Coast USA. Also a tip, turn on realistic mirrors so you can see the car and also behind you while driving.

You can switch which vehicle you use in scenarios as well. Before you start the scenario hit escape, select the vehicle, hit escape a couple times, and the scenario start pops up. I have over 1000 hours in this game, used to be a Twitch partner before epilepsy took me off camera and out of my IRL race car, if you need any help or have any questions about the game let me know, we can trade contact info. I have tons of free time now since my diagnosis, and while I can't stream myself, it'd be awesome to just help someone else.

@@zolwiq007 Yeah, I can still play games and stuff, I'm not photosensitive, I just don't want to risk having a seizure on camera. Stress triggers my seizures more than anything, and streaming can be stressful.

It's an amazing rig, I just wish your POV in the videos was a little above the steering wheel, instead of the wheel being centre of the screen. I am constantly wanting to see a bit more out the windshield. Just some feedback :)

You should try the time attack game mode. Run that trophy truck in the desert of johnson valley or do rally in the uta map

This is super cool. Although it seems like 48" monitors would be better than 65" ones. Normaly in other videos I don't quite notice big car sindrome but in this one it looks like it's there. Still I love versatility and BeamNG content

Yeah the FOV adjustments don’t quite work perfectly for this game in our setup like they do in iRacing, etc.

Thats an amazing price will! Is that price for just one setup?! You should open a sim racing game store, (thats what i want to do lol) where ppl can pay for an hour or less and try sim racing, as i know alot of ppl haven't been able to experience this fun hobby. God Bless

Cool video! I always find the perspective of the video a bit weird though, like it's slightly too low. I feel like if it were my eyes, my view would be looking slightly higher. More window, less legs.

Its a limitation of the system unfortunately. There isn't any more screen. If I tilt the camera up you're looking at a black wall above the screens, and if I bring everything down to compensate, the steering wheel ends up out of alignment with the dash. It not thing I could do is crop it in a bit so it replicates what you would see in real life a bit more, but the. It’s less entertaining and looks less like a head cam.

@@boostedmedia I have the exact same problem, it's giving me headache, literally. And I see your problem. You can't "zoom in", then the peripheral left/right vision would suffer. But looking straight ahead instead of down is absolutely crucial for some viewers. So maybe cropping is a good way - 21:9 instead of 16:9. Although I'm not sure if seeing the black wall would actually be that bad...

This camera angle made the video really hard to watch. I was getting motion sickness even though I watch your iRacing videos. I'm not exactly sure what is different but the problem was mainly that the camera was pointing at your knees not the screen a lot of the time and the rig also seems to be off center? Or maybe it's just the more light on you compared to other videos or a larger FOV (shorter focal length) on the camera. The top of the screens were also cut off a lot so it was really hard to watch the gameplay. I'm not sure where you put the go pro but I think for FPV recording it's best to place it in front of the mouth. I've heard this from mountain bikers who sometimes just put the go pro in their mouth (I mean like bite on to it) if they can't attach it to anything in the moment. This is also a common camera placement in video games. My thought was that maybe you could get one of those helmets that rally drivers wear that has a mouth piece protruding from one side and attach the go pro to that.

There’s a few limitations with the view in BeamNG that we don’t have in iRacing, acc, etc that make it not work quite as well as those titles. The GoPro is over my left eye.

Sense of speed in a sim is completely different than irl, this is about right.

@@NicOz42 If sense of speed is not accurate it's not a good sim IMHO. The closest thing to my racing experience that I ever tried on a computer was Raceroom in VR. Many other "sims" were too approximative, the understeering on Project Cars was a joke for example, but I'm not a specialist. I have to try some more games if I wanna buy one setup.

@@zaziou711 you will never get the sense of speed you feel driving a real cars in a sim unless probably if you can replicate accurately the motion of a car in a motion sim and having a VR setup to increase the immersion.

You have very nice hands. I won't comment on your legs because you're wearing pants. I know you do a lot of reviews so you're having to show the equipment a lot of the time, but can you do us a favor when you film your gameplay and tilt the camera up towards the windscreen more so we get a better view out the window? It's less important to me to see your hands and steering wheel and legs in this scene, I'd rather see what's going on out the windows. If you play it back you'll notice that only the top 5th of the screen shows what's going on outside. Everything else is hands legs and steering wheel. Also having a large portion of the screen static while having a thin band of the screen rapidly moving about is a little disorientating so tilting the camera up so more of the screen is actively moving around may also help.

There is no more screen. If I tilt the camera picture looking at a black wall behind the screen. It’s just a limitation of the FOV settings in this game. Requires having the perspective tilted down more.
