CO2 is a trace gas in the atmosphere, only 0.04 percent but the IPCC say that CO2 is a dangerous GHG because it absorbs and emits strongly at 15 microns. According to Wien's displacement law 15 microns has a corresponding temperature of -80⁰ C. The troposphere, that's the part of the atmosphere we live in, is defined by molecules with a temperature of -60⁰ C and above. Emissions of IR from CO2 @ 15 microns cannot heat any molecules in the troposphere. That would violate the laws of physics. It is the sun that drives the climate on earth and not humans or our carbon emissions.

So if the sun does cause climate change and CO2 doesn't how come CO2 has a correlation going back millions of years and the sun doesn't? Not to mention that the sun's cycles don't line up at all with the current warming, if that were the case then we should have also had cooling in the last few decades, not the mention that the differences aren't enough to cause warming on the levels we are seeing. Sure if you look at that one piece of information then maybe you can claim that it's not CO2 but it's not the case when you look at all of the information put together, like how it started when we started creating large amounts of CO2, that it's going faster than any other time in history (pointing to a new factor), that CO2 levels are linked with climate change throughout history, how the sun works in relation to our weather and climate, etc. Maybe actually learn some physics before saying that things would break physics.

We are right now in a time period in which more and more groups within society are up for violant protest including rather new mid-class anti-party-curfew protesters all looking for trouble with the Police, who should not get sick long term considering OC regrouping at the moment, too. Point is that the latest attempts to change by public protest, even in way bigger masses, such as in the Maghreb during the Arab-Spring failed to get any momentum of change. The Maghreb is economically part of the Western World by interconnection and has the same deep problems that are now getting worse due to an Epidemic that can be limited in impact by individual actions, only.
