As a former handler and trainer I can attest to the fact this is not easy work. It takes an enormous amount of conviction and dedication to do it right. This was one of the most rewarding times of my career. My dog became a member of my family and my two young daughters loved him like a big brother. Fantastic animals!

As a Military Police Superintendent I got to assist in the training and certification of my K-9 units. I loved playing the suspect, running away and catching the K-9. The force and then the control is amazing. K-9 teams are force multipliers in any department. I will definitely put this Boondockers Welcome on my list heading to visit Michigan.

Wow! We have a K9 and Handler at the hospital I work at. Very fascinating running into them in the hall. You have to ignore the dog because he’s in training still. Dogs are a great asset to humans working or at home. ❤️

Just recently had to put down my partner. We had him from a pup. I brought him home when he was about six weeks old have photos and video of him playing with the family. Then photos of him and me going through K9 school together. Since we lived way out in the country I wanted an additional means of protection for the family. He was very protective of my kids. If they got into trouble and dad was going to discipline them I had to put him in the other room. When mother would answer the front door or go outside he was Allways by her side or the kids. Since I was on the road a lot he was the protector. But he always knew who was the boss of the home was. Arthritis finally got so bad he had trouble walking so it was time. Just seeing the video makes us want another Doberman. I have Allways had one. But since we are getting ready to retire I don't want to get one again. I'll just remember the good times of him running on the property and playing with our kid and grandbabies.😢RIP DUKE!!!

We have a Marine friend who is a Baltimore police K9 trainer. Jarhead got to “play” with his dog in a bite suit. He wasn’t warned about the punch in the jewels when the dog jumped up to bite. 😂😣
