Why are they protecting the land grabber. Mkenya akienda street to protest anapigwa risasi , hiyo hakuna mtu anatetea mwingine

This community is just full of hatred. Between a cattle deep and a tea farm which one brings in more economic benefits. Why NOT ask the owner to buy land somewhere and build a cattle dip there
@MichaelRiq5 жыл бұрын
The community is not full of hatred, they're just trying to reclaim the so called 'ancestral land' of which I think this community land ownership imepitwa na wakati.
@JohnNjengaCOCO5 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelRiq again that's so true. Even Title deed thing is taking Kenya backward. As much as it can stimulate economic trade by exchanging the deed for cash it is taking us backward. Look at how the billionaires squat on prime land and stop towns like Naivasha from expanding towards Gilgil just because of private land ownership with a deed. Were it to be a lease then the govt would have revoked Delamere farm and allowed people to settle and develop the land along the Nakuru highway
@MichaelRiq5 жыл бұрын
@@JohnNjengaCOCO Let me try and break down your point 1. Private land ownership by billionaires is what is hindering us from developing because of hoarding of land 2. Govt leasing land will try and reclaim needed land for development of which I think is true. But look at a county like Kiambu where we have huge land owners inviting investors and creating room for development and expansion of the Kiambu and the greater Nairobi. That's the path to development that brings win win situations.

I don't like the governor but on this he is just doing the rite thing.........Ama just because i built a fifty story building on a riparian land haitabomolewa ilhali ya mwenye two stories ibomolewe!!!!
