I work through our local sheriffs department as a courthouse deputy. I bought the same belt rig. It is so MUCH NICER than the typical belts with the metal buckles! It’s much easier to put on, and your gear feels tighter and more secure. I would highly recommend one to anyone who works in an armed job. To me, it was well worth the investment. 👮🏻‍♂️

A suggestion to fix your magazine and pepper spray pouch issue is maybe get open top magazine pouches. It is beneficial to quicker access to ammo and you won't mistaken them for the paper spray snap

Only thing I’ve never liked about Velcro belts in place of keepers or oversized loops, the Velcro attracts EVERYTHING from dirt to dry grass to seeds to wee prickly things, especially when I’m out in wooded areas and farm fields, which is 99% of where I work. And they wear out much faster than keepers or underbelts.

Great video and duty belt set up. I went to a Tactical belt with a cobra buckle works great I use it for range and competition. My new Bianici basket weave duty belt just came in I put all my Safariland Basket weave pouches on it and my Sig Sauer P320 45 ACP Safariland triple retention holster on it. It looks great just like yours. You should put your ASP BATON on the left side next to your mag pouch and the oc spray infront of your handcuffs. That's the way mine is for the last 20 years

That belt is thicker than a Sam Browne belt so the gear pushes out more I wear the nylon version on duty so my baton has been moved to behind my pistol

I wear my asp behind my gun which is on the right then my OC is on the front right next to my cuffs in a closed cuff case. Then my taser is on my left side, mags on left front and next to those are my cuff straps. I highly suggest trying the ASP behind your weapon with some okay distance

The Kore Essentials Battle Belt has by far been the BEST duty belt I have ever worn. Micro pals webbing, 4" worth of 1/4" adjustments WHILE WEARING the belt, it is cut specifically for you and your pant measurement instead of sizes of small, med and large so it fits EXACTLY how you want it too, weather that be lose or very snug and you can go between those two at any time with no hassle and without removing all of your kit! The belt is extremely rigid due to the multi layer system having a plastic center, the nylon has a subtle sheen to it that looks very professional while wearing duty blues and is thin/light weight so it doesn't dig into your hips and back while driving. I have worn it with full duty equipment such as taser, asp, mags, 2x cuffs, pistol, keys, TQ and it holds everything perfectly. I have also worn it in conjunction with an outer carry vest so only running mags and pistol and holds everything tight to my body without having to move the buckle around or do anything crazy to get it to fit properly after removing all of the gear that was on it prior. Has been one of the best investments I have made in my 7 years on the job!

Careful with that handcuff strap boss. That’ll eventually weaken and when you’re sitting in your car and then get out, then cuffs will fall right off. I’m speaking from experience here 😂 also try this setup on your belt. From left to right : handcuff pouch, handcuff strap, (taser which you don’t have) radio, OC Spray. Middle of back glove pouch, behind firearm put your baton, firearm, then mags horizontally in front of gun

@Reichsfuhrer John Smith all comes down to personal preference boss. I find that when in crouched position, mags from my gun side are easier to access and when the mag is out, it’s actually closer to the firearm than on the left side. Trained that way so I’m used to it. I will never have handcuffs on my gun side. That requires me to grab them using my right hand which means the hand is now occupied meaning if I needed to draw, it wouldn’t be as quick as needed. Again, personal preference

Try moving your asp baton to the non dominant side behind your mag holder, move your oc pouch to the right side infront of your weapon. Then your keys infront of your oc spray pouch! Trust me mine is that way and works great.

So that lil tab at the end of the belt you tossed at the beginning is obviously there to assist you with separating the Velcro when removing the belt. Then watching you fail at putting on a belt was nauseating. You seem like your stoned but your not and that's what worries me. it worries me because they gave you the responsibility of enforcing the law and protecting the people.
