Police Officer Refuses To Leave Stray Puppy's Side After 12-Hour Shift

A police officer fell asleep right next to the dog he rescued. Apparently, the puppy was running loose around a Florida neighborhood with no identification. Kareem Garibaldi almost ran it over while on patrol. He searched for the owner for hours but never found them. So after the end of his third 12-hour shift he brought the pet to the SPCA. He sat there for hours at the vet while the dog was checked out. #InsideEdition

Doesn't matter if it was "somebody's" dog, even as a stray, it was in need of help and this officer did what any good person would do, he helped. The judgment of a person's character is shown when he goes out of his way to help knowing he'll receive nothing in return.
