They were kept busy all the time but I never heard him complain. He loved the life, was single, and the late Queen was his other mother! He passed Xmas 2018 and here I am finding out what I can for a Memorial which was put off mostly due to Covid and then ill-health. He was a creative fellow, loved to make people laugh. After watching thousands of hours of your videos (which I never tire of) it is hard NOT to stereo type tourists. Because the behavior repeats itself over and over. There are some distinctive traits in each type. There are the Kevin and Karens that feel like they have every right to manhandle the horses, sometimes feed the horses, walk right in front of someone else trying to take a picture, and feeling no pressure whatsoever to hurry along their process. There are the teenage boys that feel like since they are in a group they should compete with one another to see who can be the most obnoxious. Any one of this immature boys wouldn't have the courage to act out on their own. There are also the Hasidic jewish people who not only encourage their children to misbehave, but do so themselves. They are guided by principles in their lives that require courage to live and look differently than others. But, why do they all act SO disrespectfully? I can't imagine that their religious leaders would encourage such behavior. There are the selfish females that spend endless hours in front of a mirror to get every detail of their appearance and poses runway ready. There are the clueless, rambling zombie like tourists that disrespect the people and the reverence of the place by not spending a second to research proper behavior or protocol and just leaving their trash wherever they are standing. I am American and have traveled all of the world. Any trip starts with learning of local customs, long held traditions, the dos and don'ts of wherever you are visiting. Let alone understanding and honoring these fine young soldiers and horses. Yes, the horses are considered military personnel. Also, thanks so much for the commentary. My favorite part of your videos is what you have started lately by asking some of the public what they were thinking when doing something stupid. We are waiting with bated breath to hear from these idiots.

There are one or two things you need to know about Horse Guards Parade and the buildings around them, they may not be Buckingham Palace, but they are still part of the Whitehall Estate and part of Crown Lands. For quite a long while the buildings you see housed some of the Ministry of Defence offices, my Dad used to work there, and at another office to the South of the River, which although not guarded by the Horse Guards, had protection of military police, and in times of strife had colour coded warnings shown which banned everybody, not just tourists!

@@teresafarenden-hn1pz In California if a child tells a teacher that it has received a spanking or any form of punishment of that nature it’s jail time. Sometimes, all it takes is one positive interaction from an adult to turn a young life around and point them towards a positive future. I’ve made it a point to chat with as many of my kids’ friends online as I can since they started getting online and I still do. Many still call me mom/mum, while others I’ve lost contact with. It only takes a few minutes of time to make a positive impact instead of judging and walking away. Well done, sir!

She was up with a couple, then by herself pulling a few silly poses and then up again and still wanting everyone to keep out of her shot. She shoos back the woman at 29:14 . Maybe this princess needs to share a bit, everyone else steps up, takes their photo and moves on. It wasn't her personal photo shoot and a lot of people wanted a chance for a photo.
