Had me crying tears of joy for Linda. What an awesome thing to do for her Jerry! That's what we did on The Lifestyle preview. My Friend and I drove all over The Villages in the golf cart. Of course that was back in 2011 when The Villages was a lot smaller than it is now! When I first moved here, I forgot that I had newspaper delivery and my neighbor came over and told me about the concern they have when they see 2 papers out side. Hi Jerry and Linda, I just finihed watching this video and its 10:05 pm, I had a busy day, but I am enjoying mine, just as you 2 have for 13 years. The seat belts on the golf carts I feel are esential for saftey. I put them on mine, even though I didn't have to for llicensing beause the seats are slick.Since I drive on the public streets, I need to realy keep an eye on the cars.

Hi Jerry & Linda, When we had our lifestyle visit in May of 2022. To the best of our recollection we don’t remember our golf cart having seatbelts. Maybe it’s changed now, but something to check on. The pontoon boat is so much fun! A few years ago my dad chose that to celebrate his 80th birthday. We cruised to Mt Dora and had lunch at the beautiful old Inn. He didn't enjoy the shopping as much as we did though!

Beautiful & heart warming - what a thoughtful guy - that Jerry! Peter, what an efficient and easy way to clean screens! Speeding golf carts - mimic the way a lot of people drive cars. Slow down! Tickets are often easily paid, but death is forever. Awesome 4 seat golf car. Entertainment in TV is a bonus to all the other advantages we enjoy in TV. We also went cod fishing, you are allowed 6 fish per person and they clean it for you at the end of the trip and we barbecued it for supper….sooooo delish!!! Hello Jerry and Linda. I think you both made a fantastic decision retiring at 55. Had you stayed longer on the job you may never have come to The Villages and life may have been very different. It's said that once a person hits 60 they have about 1000 weeks of good life left. I'll be 70 soon which means on average, I have about 500 weeks of good life left. I really need to get started on having some fun. Working many years as a nurse I can vouch that no one on their deathbed says "I wish I spent more time at the office." Enjoy life!

Good morning! I loved how Gerry set up the surprise for Linda . It was so much fun to watch . My friend and l just came back from the Villages . We went to help her sister and BIL move into their first Village house and to visit my brother and SIL. We had such a good time , in fact my brother has lived there for over 10 years and the Villages is getting more and more appealing to me . To the person who just asked about places to stay . We decided not to bother our families since her sister was moving in and unpacking Pods and my brother was getting ready to go north . We stayed at the Brownwood Hotel and loved it . The most comfortable beds etc . Extremely clean . We also ate at the Wolfgang Puck restaurant and had the worst service l have ever had. My friend’s sister said that they eat at the bar at the Brownwood where the food comes quickly from Wolfgang’s kitchen . The Brownwood’s breakfast cafe is delicious and the servers were extremely helpful and nice .

Yes, Apparently when the villages bought that property it was stipulated that the house would remain and the village has been keeping it up.
