I love your videos mate, I'm wheelchair bound so when I watch your videos I imagine doing what your doing at these places. Keep up the great work 👍

Thanks Lee. I'm glad you enjoy them. I've got a bad case of itchy feet at the moment. We can't leave our homes except for essential shopping, caring and exercise. I can't seen any videos being shot until well into March, but at least I've got time to plan for them.

Beautiful scenery! Thanks for sharing the walk with us ...... had to put another cardigan on I felt so cold hearing the crunch of ice beneath your boots. What a great find on Google Earth! Take care.

Hello Scott Discovered your films and enjoying them. just a tip for the winter, carry a pair of ice grips that fit over walking boots, they are rubber with metal studs. I always have a neck warmer for winter walks. Keep up the travelling

Yak-trax is the name of what I use when walking on ice here in the States. It is a little bit like chains for your shoes. A rubber network with small metal coils slips over the bottom of your shoes or boots and it safe to walk on ice.

Plane's definitely looks like a Boeing 767. Dark tail suggests it could be UPS, but don't see the dark brown extending along the fuselage top.

Nice vid, there was a murder investigation beginning at that time, on that stretch of road. The missing charity cyclist missing for 3 years. They found him not far from your location. I think that was the police reason to question you. ps...get a pair of simple ice grips for your boots, ideal for flat ice walking.

Been up beinn Avon in those conditions windchill was -40 it may well look completely calm but I assure you don’t attempt it you’ll not only be putting yourself but others in Danger, the weather closes so quickly sometimes without warning and before you know it your lost and your brain begins to shutdown and hypothermia sets in and you think finding a place to get out of the wind but really it’s your mind saying let’s stop and freeze, best thing to do is as soon as you think your lost is stop get your phone and dial for help and walk in circles to keep moving but don’t stray I used to work in those conditions a lot and it’s caught me out even in July believe it or not Scotland has its own weather conditions loving this series of the west highland way Scott I may recommend better ankle support boots and gaiters and a smock those are great for hill walking and light with gore tex lined Oh and I love the history of general wade I’ve visited many of the bridges he built, have you walked along the old A9? Its a great walk and scenery is fantastic

I just came across this video Scott and you mentioned a plane flying over the Horseshoe loop well, i used to get the plane From Glasgow Airport up to Stornoway and it too flew up over the Highlands. Not sure if it took that route though.

With the dark tail it looks like it could be a UPS 767? (cargo airline)
@jimgemmell2831 Жыл бұрын
My initial thought also, an UPS 767.But looking at it, don't see the dark brown extending forward along the fuselage top.

My thoughts too, aside from there's no brown extending along the fuselage roof. Definitely looks like a 767, though.

The rules at the time stated you could venture outside your local area for exercise. When I was being served at the Green Welly shop two staff were discussing the tightening of rules announced that afternoon. That's why there have been no videos since the last upload on the 13th January. I can't wait until the restrictions are lifted in March.

I had literally just put away the camcorder when the car pulled up. If I had known what was to happen, I would have at least had my phone on, recording the moment for prosperity.
“I don’t think there are a lot of people walking on this.” Oh, I wonder why? There is a pandemic and you should be at home. I’d love to drive the 8 miles or so to the Peak District but like the vast majority of people I’ve not. Love the video, but take a break.
@PlanesTrainsEverything4 жыл бұрын
This video was made before Christmas, and so I was able to walk in the area. Since the 26th December Scotland has been on lockdown, and that's why there have been no videos filmed since then. I've got itchy feet to get moving again, but possibly not until March.
