Funny thing, still carrying an old Gen2 23 off duty. I actually prefer the grip to everything since, including the Gen5's. I don't "like" the Glocks, but I definitely still appreciate the simplicity after all these years. And thats coming from an M&P and Glock armorer. And I also shoot the Glocks better. Good video.

I love getting the LE trade ins
@crankygunreviews28 күн бұрын
@@TwinGunz if you can look at them before buying, you can find some good deals. And I’m starting to realize why people like glocks so much- they’re simple, easy to upgrade, and they are pretty reliable. A 40S&W with a 9mm barrel makes for light recoil and good accuracy too

Imo I think the M&P .40 1.0 is still totally completely relevant. Ive owned all kinds of handguns and carry everyday, all day. 75% of the time it's M&P Gen 1 LE trades in .40 or .357sig. And I own 2.0s and a metal🤷♂️ but choise 1.0. Thanks for the video!

It feels kinda high pressure, but it's very controllable if you've shot more than 1000 rounds in your lifetime. I think the 9mm comeback had a lot to do with more female officers. Frankly, my favorite is probably the .45 ACP in a fullsize pistol, but I'm weird like that.

I carried the Glock 22 for 20 years on the beat with either a Glock 27 or 23 as my back up on my vest. Then carried a Glock 17 for 12 years on water patrol and the street, The Glocks in 40 cal are my favorites. I still carry a 23 as a civilian during the winter in Florida, In the summer it is either a 380 or a Shield but I try to carry the 23 as much as possible. I don't care what the FBI or anyone else says, the rounds that start with a 4 are better than 9mm in power and performance... Still own several 40 Glocks...
