This attracted the attention of security and the Police and one guy comes to me and seems a little agitated!

What gets me is the coppers and guards that come at you with no legal authority, flaunt the laws, are disrespectful, rude, uneducated, aggressive and show nothing but contempt for the public but expect the respect and trust from the very people they abuse. Everyone one of those so called blue line heroes went out of their way to cause a scene, looking for an excuse to hem you up and ruin your day. You can just imagine them laughing and high fiving each other saying "he won't be back in a hurry" It shows that their supervisors must agree with the way they treat the public by the way these louts are not afraid to be seen by thousands of people abusing a member of the public.

4:55 A private road doesn't mean the public can't use it. A private road just means the owner maintains it, not the council. Many roads are maintained by the council, but on property not owned by the council. For a road to be private and not accessible by the public it needs barriers. For both vehicles and pedestrians.

A site full of videos telling how he consistently interpreted the law and Police procedures to what suited him. So no surprise there then.

To think that I served 30 years and can honestly say I would never have dealt with a member of the public in this bullying and arrogant manner. These days they think that whatever they say or do is perfectly acceptable and legal even when that is plainly wrong. Fancy making such a fuss about such a trivial matter. They need to go away and do some police work instead of turning a minor matter into a drama. If a helicopter takes off or is in the vicinity a drone pilot knows to lower the height or land.

Wearing your licence back-to-front from the SIA December newsletter - It is a condition of the licence that a front line licence holder must “wear the licence where it can be seen at all times when engaging in any licensable conduct” unless they have reported it lost or stolen, or it is in our possession. Some people think that they can wear the licence back-to-front, so that their name and photograph are not on display. This is a breach of licence conditions and an offence under section 9 (4) of the Private Security Industry Act 2001. This is because the words ‘the licence’ have a specific legal meaning in this context. The front line licence is described in Schedule 2 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (licences) Regulations 2007. This shows the part of the card displaying the licence number, photograph, name, licensed sector, and expiry date. Where our licence condition says, “wear the licence where it can be seen”, the legal definition of the words cause it to mean “wear the front of the licence where it can be seen”. The purpose of the licence card is to provide assurance to the public that the person in front of them has been properly checked and vetted. This requires members of the public to be able to see that the person they are speaking to is in fact the person we have licensed. Hiding the front of the licence is clearly at odds with this.

Great video BP and shows always some tyrants who despise the public. ⭐⭐⭐👍 Around 1911 the older brick buildings were a tuberculosis isolation hospital which closed in the 1950s. The entrance road was realigned about 2008 and the prior route adjacent to the new road visible in the 08 street view. Public footpaths circle the property as well as the north-south footpath through the site next to security. Between A650 and the security gatehouse, Bishopgarth and Firing and Training Range were added 2010-12 period. Former Bishopgarth location in Wrenthorpe was redeveloped as a housing estate.

5:20 A no public right of way sign doesn't mean the public can't use the route. It means that the route cannot be turned into a public right of way. A route which doesn't have this kind of sign for 20 years can become a public right of way. Its easy for a route to become a PRoW, but very hard to stop it being a PRoW. For the public to not be allowed to use the route, the sign should read authorised personnel only or similar wording.

10:40 So they're arguing about standing two feet off the PRoW. Absolutely pointless. A PRoW has no actual defined boundary. You are allowed to deviate from a PRoW as and when necessary and can step off it when possible with no consequences. It's the degree to which you deviate from the PRoW that is a factor. A couple of feet is nothing. Twenty feet might be something, depending on the context. Two hundred feet will be an issue, but again it depends on the context. Context is important as a PRoW through a field is different from a PRoW that borders someone's garden.
