CPS will be all over this one and she will loose her kids to the state until she can be proven fit again if she even tries, if its dope she wont and it'll be another child in the foster system. She will serve time and likely have to spend a bit of time in a rehab or psychiatric care facility before returning to society. It may be a psychiatric case but more than likely this is just a case of someone strung out on the PCP/Methamphetamine/Fentanyl combo that's been circulating around Arkansas as a cheap drug. This is REALLY bad in northeast Arkansas especially when they have higher concentrations of PCP in batches and people start loosing their minds hallucinating on that trash.

Well that boy was not some little kid and he was also hanging onto his mother trying to protect her. God bless that young man and I feel for him knowing that his mom is seriously in a bad mental condition. I hope it can be resolved and healed somehow and they can live a normal life Thankfully the cops were very patient and totally professional and they didn't have to hurt the mom to take her into custody. It just blows my mind what kind of stuff our police officers have to deal with every day. God bless those guys too!

How many times have you been in a vehicle pursuit at high rates of speed with 4 people (later you find out they robbed someone at gun point in another county) in the car, while the driver is asking the passengers "Should I shoot the cop? I'm gonna shoot him!" and then he tries to ram you head on at a high rate of speed and you barely miss it by swerving into a burm into a yard, causing your front bumper to break and your radiator to crack and once the suspect car finally sh*ts out you have to get into a foot chase with the driver and he (while still wearing a ski-mark) pulls a gun and points it at you but trips and falls and drops the gun, barely saving his own life because it was the only thing that stopped you from shooting him? Is THAT the dude you deal with? OR a dude so hyped up on drugs (look up Excited Delirium) he's literally got an entire knife in his neck (missed his jugular in this case) and you have to tackle him to stop him from killing himself and he pulls the knife out to fight with and you have his hand pinned down with the knife in it while you're fighting and can't get out on the radio cause you're in an unfinished concreted basement in the middle of po-dunk no-where so you can't get backup while fighting the guy armed with a knife? Yeah those people but I'm sure you also deal with them when you work the register at Wal*Mart buddy. No, wait, thats not what he meant, your comment is stupid and irrelevant and you have no idea even remotely the situations we deal with, just because someone was rude to you because they wanted you to scan their items faster when they could've just used the self checkout, what jerks they are, you deserve an award. Grew up there...finally left for a final time about 13 years ago. When I grew up, Lamar had a constable who drove around in a beat up car, sat on his porch in his underwear drinking beer and had at least one daughter involved in drug-dealing. He was a joke. And the history of incompetent cops has only continued and isn't limited to just Lamar. The SO had has deputies convicted of perjury, a Sheriff convicted of drug charges. A recent Chief deputy fired for inappropriate contact with minors. This level of incompetence is the norm there.

Trooper Smothers was alone in so many ways dealing with bedlam. Dispatch seemed detached and when secondary showed up after the wild driving for over ten minutes who should it be but silent, shy James. Totally useless in an emergency. Kudos to Trooper Smothers for getting a menace off the road. That child will have the rest of his mother's life dealing witb her refusing medication and help.

This woman appears to be in serious need of mental treatment as well as a seasoned lawyer who is capable of handling the defense case for someone of this psychiatric condition. Spouting (or attemptng to spout) spiritually as she is, sound spiritual counseling should be in order as well. This poor soul does need help. And Bless his heart, we haven't even considered the son.
