@@PoliPopo Curious what made you get rid of the Force? The workflow is killer. I imagine even more so now with the MPC Plugin Instruments. I just updated but havent played them yet. I have the force and have been considering an MPC X but every time I consider I really haven't maxed out what I can do on the Force and arguably the workflow is quicker.

Check your account. I downloaded the manuals for software and hardware 2.11.6 today and release notes. If I'm not mistaken it might be the old links still- but new downloads when you press on them.

Just started peeping your videos and really appreciate the shared knowledge. I have an mpc2000xl but im a dinosaur, havent made music in over 10-15 years. Im pretty sure im gonna get the mpclive2 and a small midi keyboard for it. Seems like i can do everything i need like that. I sample but want to use a lot of plugins, filters, eq, etc. So, my question is, can i do it all without a laptop or computer, i just have a phone, lol. I dont see why i couldnt just download something like that miniD on my phone and dump it to the mpc via bluetooth?

I started on the xl and the live will make you feel right at home 💯 and I’ve seen plenty of phones and tablets hooked up to this but not Bluetooth, but I’m sure in an update or two.

Update has a bunch of unwanted noise issues when using tascam as usb interface. (Downloaded flavour pro and mini d - both are dope af).

Hi Poli. Have you had issues using an audio interface with the new update or past updates? I was hoping the new update would fix this. I bought the scarlette 4i4 with the MPC one recently, and have never been able to use the two together without audio dropouts every few seconds. Any idea if this will ever get fixed in an update? or is it something to do with the audio interface itself? Hard to find recent info on this. Thanks for your videos! ive been watching them all!

Ill wait for price to go down in a month or two. I jumped on the MPC Instrument Collection for $500 the same day it came out- now its $350. TBH, I havent used any of them except OPx4...so I can wait for a RC20 clone and a Monarch clone til another date. IDK about updating either. I went up to 2.11.5 and it broke mp3 previews,etc so I downgraded back to the stable 2.11.4. Now they have 2.11.6 and people already saying a bunch of stuff broke. I'll wait...for now. Great video though Poli Popo-as usual.

Once I purchase air flavor pro from the MPC site it downloads as a zip file And when I’m hooked up to my computer it will extract directly to the MPC desktop software am I correct?

I was in the same place some years back. Things'll fall into place little by little. Whenever frustration gets to a boiling point, shut'r down, walk away and live to see another day. Tubes like this one, Tubedigga, Marlow Digs as well as many others I can list will be a big help navigating through the MPC's ecosystem.

Hey thanks for the info! Quick question… I have a hard drive installed in my MPC Live 2 and after updating to 2.11.6 I noticed over half of my 1 TB drive was full… normally I’m at less than 20 percent full. You got any thoughts on what that might be?

Why not put it in controller mode and browse it yourself from the computer. You might have a defective or fraudulent drive.

Wait man they still have midi cc broken basic functions don’t even work I have done like 6 updates and still no fix. so I thought cool at-least new update gives air flavor pro and ya have to pay for it smh 🤦‍♂️, so they made a 61 keys a sound pack for 500 and won’t fix the basic functions of the mpc and now charging us again wtf akai 🤦‍♂️ about to sell this thing just fix the machine !!!! I’m scared to even see the price on this stuff . This is what air flavor should have been in the first place but now we need a pro paid version.
