Cześć Maša! I'm happy that this is helpul. :) Future tense doesn't always go with "będę, będziesz" because in Polish there are actually two future tenses: one is in imperfective form (it's called officially "czas przyszły złożony") and the other is perfective (officially: "czas przyszły prosty"). The imprefective one consists of two words: 1. będę, będziesz etc. 2. infinitive (robić) or form of 3 person Sg in past tense (robił, robiła, robili, robiły). So we say: Jutro przez godzinę będę robić/robiła obiad. Na wakacjach codziennie będziemy czytać/czytali. We wtorek od 10:00 do 12:00 będziesz pisać/pisała egzamin. But these sentences implies that the action will: 1. be repetetive 2. not be finished / in process 3. last for some time It's more like "I will be doing" in English. But we have another future tense that we use very often. I noticed that Polish learners have difficulties to treat it as future, becuse it doesn't have "będę, będziesz..." The perfective future tense consists of only one word. You probably know that in Polish we have two forms of (almost) each verb: imperfective and perfective: robić / zrobić, czytać / przeczytać; jeść / zjeść. The conjugation of the perfective form is simply perfective future tense. For example: Jutro zrobię obiad. Na wakacjach przeczytam tę książkę do końca. We wtorek napiszesz egzamin, a po egzaminie pójdziemy na piwo. "Zrobię", "przeczytam", "napiszesz" mean - "I will make", "I will read", "you will write". This future tense implies that the action will be completed. Does it answer to your question? :)

These are wonderful! Can you please do one on ciebie vs tobie? Also to, ta, tę, tą !

Dziękuję. :) All you ask about is regarding cases. "Ciebie" is accusative or genetive case and "tobie" is dative and locative case. Next month there will be something new about cases. :)

@@PolishwithDorota Looking forward to it! It's very helpful to have this format of word vs. word, it's what I struggle most with when speaking! Do you do private lessons? :)

Teach me Polish It is possible which is good news. Patrick has a video in English where explains how he learned Polish so well. He moved to Poland and committed to 100 % immersion. He forced his friends to only speak Polish, no English. He met with a Polish language teacher twice a week to correct his writing and speaking. This makes sense to me. I have never personally met a native English speaker who has learned to speak a Slavic language fluently as an ADULT. I know they exist, Patrick is one, but they are extremely rare. I have been teaching myself Polish for the last 10 years and I live in America so I have come to the conclusion that only full immersion will work for a native English speaker to learn effective Polish.
