@kbilsky2 жыл бұрын
Wrong! That was the Soviet Union not Russia in 1939. in 1939 the Soviet Union, not Russia, was involved in the attack on Poland. Russia was one of the Soviet republics and not the entire Soviet Union. It is historically wrong to equate the Russians with the Soviets, the Communists and the Bolsheviks. The Soviets, and the Communists and Bolsheviks were international, not just Russian. They also thought international. They wanted the communist system for the whole world. Stalin was a Georgian, Trotsky was a Jew, Alexander Miasnikian was Armenian Bolshevik, Lazar Kaganovich(Kogan) was a Jew, Adolf Abramovich was Crimean Tatar communist, Vincas Mickevičius was a Lithuanian communist, Vilgelm Knorin was a Byelorussian communist, Pavel Pellinen was a Moldovian communist, Yefim Pestun was a Yakut and Karl Pauker was a Jew etc. The communists murdered as many Russians as Poles! For the international communists, the decisive factor was whether someone was an enemy of the communist system and not nationality. Enemies or alleged enemies were murdered. But they also murdered indiscriminately to spread terror both in Poland and in Russia.

You clearly don’t know history as Russia lost a civil war and was taken over by communists.. ordinary Russians also suffered under their rule. Also, Ukraine benefited massively at the time btw, as it’s western lands were annexed from Russia and added to Ukrainian SSR. If you talking about the horrors of WW2, how come you don’t mention Bandera and UPA?? You know Ukrainians committed genocide on hundreds of thousands of Polish people, right? Or are you conveniently avoiding this bit about WW2 history??
@GreatPolishWingedHussars2 жыл бұрын
This is nonsense! Then you would have to write that about the Ukrainians too, because Ukrainians were Soviets too! In 1939 the Soviet Union, not Russia as a state, was involved in the attack on Poland. This is a List of International Communists of the Soviet Union! Stalin was a Georgian, Trotsky was a Jew, Mykola Skrypnyk was a Ukrainian communist, Alexander Miasnikian was Armenian Bolshevik, Lazar Kaganovich(Kogan) was a Jew, Adolf Abramovich was Crimean Tatar communist, Vincas Mickevičius was a Lithuanian communist, Vilgelm Knorin was a Byelorussian communist, Pavel Pellinen was a Moldovian communist, Yefim Pestun was a Yakut and Karl Pauker was a Jew etc. The communists murdered as many Russians as Poles! For the international communists, the decisive factor was whether someone was an enemy of the communist system and not nationality. Enemies or alleged enemies were murdered. But they also murdered indiscriminately to spread terror both in Poland and in Russia.

Yes it,s True. Yes it is awful. Unfortunately, it is a struggle for influence and power in Poland. And one party from the Polish Civic Platform (PO) is also involved in this, and it can even spend the money from the EU allocated to Poland in order to only harm Poland and then take over the authorities. It is terrible that Polish groups do not play together for the good of Poland, but for their own interests or the interests of foreign countries. This is true, unfortunately, Germany has the greatest influence on EU policy. We, Poles, chose the president and the authorities ourselves. There is normal rule of law, normal courts. And the changes introduced by Poland do not differ from the countries of the Western European Union. Moreover, the union breaks the treaties stating that each country has the right to its own constitution. Poland, as understood by the EU, has no such law. Finally, I will mention that they want to punish Poland. We expect nothing for the help of the Ukrainians. But give us peace of mind, we know how to run our country. And Germany should be subject to sanctions because it has not resigned from financing Putin's army. They still do business with him.

As a Polish person, I would like to thank you for kind words! I hope all refugees from all places in the world affected by war will get such help in the future.
